  The location is ideal for exploring this beautiful bit of scotland and the hotel is spotless and the staff are friendly. The restaurant is pleasant.

  A lovely grand old building full of character and the rooms badly need refurbishment.

  The fine food was served in splendid surroundings in a remarkably efficient manner and the only thing to stay was that Staff from checking in to checking out were fantastic. The dining room was bright and on the up side, the breakfast and breakfast service was excellent.

  The location perfect to take the train into aberdeen for a days shopping and the best thing about Thainstone Hosue Hotel is teh friendliness of the staff. The food is really excellent and worthy of a top restaurant.

  The hotel setting is great, bar and waiting staff generally are pleasant, helpful and competent.

  The location is wonderful and ease of access to aberdeenshire is second to none, also the mobile phone signal is weak, breakfast could have been better.

  Good food and a relaxed atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, very clean and a very comfy large bed. Lovely breakfast and well maintained fitness club/health spa c/w swimming pool.

  Whole dining area looked tired and dirty, slow service at Bar.
