  The bathrooms are dated and had cracks in the walls. The staff looked tired and overworked so not that friendly.

  Expensive room for a very low value (165$ for a queen bed). Here are some of the features of the room we had:. The bath in the bathroom is not built properly. A television that should be part of a museum. We have been to several motels in the past and have always had better services.

  Horrible furniture (worst than most of the motels). Noisy ventilation that does not stop before an hour when you turn the light on in the bathroom.

  The location was good if you wanted to go to Manuka and ok for driving into the city.

  The room was absolutely tiny, if very clean, and very cold at night, with no spare blankets as many Canberra hotels have.

  After driving around for a while and seeing everything else was booked out or very expensive, we were happy to find this place which was only $89 for the night (or thereabouts) for the deluxe family room - which had two queen beds, a table, bathroom and basic kitchenette. Adequate last minute accommodation for a very cheap price.

  I was in Canberra to catch a plane back to Brisbane and just needed accommodation for one night. The room had concrete/brick walls painted white and was very basic in its decor and design. The room actually looked a bit depressing, so much white and old style furniture, an ugly kitchen etc. If you're pre-booking I wouldn't pay more than $90 for the room for the night. We didn't use it, but there was a heated indoor pool on the premises.

• The reason I have given it 2 stars is because it was very clean and the staff were lovely.

  Tiny rooms, barely enough room to put the luggage. Dated decor, TV mounted on wall, no remote, no cable.
