I had a great stay at a cozy accommodation on the outskirts of Wanganui. The heated mattress pad was a pleasant surprise that kept me comfortable throughout the night. Having a separate room for the kids made bedtime much easier. Despite a few minor issues, overall I highly recommend this place.

Great value for money and perfect location for our New Year's celebrations. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised with two free complementary drinks upon check-in and a basket of fresh fruit in our room. The room was clean and spacious with all the amenities we needed.

The bathroom door catch did not lock properly, which was a bit inconvenient. We also had some minor issues at check-in and check-out with the staff not being present at the office, causing a bit of confusion and delay.

I chose Te Awa Motel because of its great location near the Sarjeant Gallery. The laundry facilities at the motel were a pleasant surprise, as well as the multilingual staff. I also enjoyed the barbecue and hot tub offered.

This made it incredibly convenient to explore all the attractions and restaurants. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and provided excellent room service, ensuring that my towels and supplies were replaced daily. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped with amenities such as heating, a dining table, and even a patio with garden furniture. I also loved the free toiletries provided, as well as the fully stocked kitchen with cookware and utensils. I was impressed with the quality of service and the comfort provided at this venue.
