The Talbot Hotel, in the heart of Wexford Town, is the very essence of this Viking Town. Overlooking the sea, it seems everything revolves around the Talbot Hotel. Here locals mix with visitors while our friendly staff add to the unique charm of one of the south east's best loved hotels.13 Everything you need is here, superbly appointed bedrooms, an excellent restaurant, a great bar, state-of-the-art conference facilities and a fully equipped health and leisure centre. The Talbot Hotel is in the heart of Wexford, overlooking the sea. We are close to all amenities, all the local attractions, bars and restaurants. Just a 5 minute walk to the main street.

Our room was a little on the small side for the price but was spotless and offered a splendid view of the sea, right across the road from the hotel.
This hotel is in a very good location, we arrived late about dinner time on a sunday and we were v dissapointed with the view from our room considering we picked the hotel to have a room overlooking the sea!
The hotel is wonderful - spotlessly clean, delicious food and in a marvellous location.
Quiet location although doesn't look it on arrival.
The hotel has a lovely location overlooking the estuary in Wexford, we had a room overlooking the front of the hotel (room 210).
The only slight downside is that the hotel is weak on in-room amenities: just one smallish bath-towel per person, no bathroom robes or minibar.
The bathroom was huge by any standard and the suite had a bedroom and smaller room with chairs, leather couches and a small dining table.
We were suprised to find that the bedroom was quite small and the double bed was simply two single beds pushed together.
The staff told us that we had been upgraded to the "executive suite" on arrival but aside from the extra bed in the room I couldnt really see what differentiated our room from others.
The rooms that we had (one for my husband and I and one for our kids) were TINY and the kids' bathroom had no tub, just a stand-up shower so small that you couldn't even turn around in it.
The breakfast is good and the bar on site is great for music, bar food and a good atmosphere.
Breakfast was good each morning and the bar food was also very good.
The bar and the reception of the hotel were lovely, the food in the bar was great as was the breakfast each day, the bedrooms, however, left a lot to be desired.
The quality and quantity of the food served in the bar for both midday lunch and the evening meal was excellent and I enjoyed a relaxing swim in the hotel's leisure centre and a refreshing drink afterwards in the hotel bar.
The hotel bar and dining room serve great fresh food.
The reception area is large, airy, modern and the reception staff where very friendly.
Staff all round VERY friendly, jazz in bar before wedding reception excellent - bar very busy.
Reception staff miserable and not helpful.
We arrived to a warm welcome from reception staff.
There is a nice pool in the hotel, a jacuzzi and sauna, also a gym upstairs and a beauty salon, my partner went for a treatment and said the standard was good.
Pool and spa make it intersting for children and adults.
Pool/ gym facilities are well equipped/ maintained and very nice.
The rooms are tastefully decorated & are spotless clean, as is the whole hotel.
We were given a room on the first floor to the rear of the hotel, the room itself was clean but compact & appeared to have relatively new curtains etc.
Our room was spacious, spotless and had a fantastic view of the harbour.
The staff were lovely and the hotel was clean but the room was very small.
We had a double room in the Talbot, which was of average standard - not very big and not very modern, but clean and bright.
