  Taj place, but fits the need an in a traffic ridden city, its in an excellent location. Room service was excellent, fast and very tasty. Service as always with a Taj is very good.

  Pool is small, but again as a business hotel, probably not a deal breaker.

  This is a decent hotel with very good service. The rooms are perfectly fine and I found the food pretty good, but the probably the best part of the hotel is the bar. But for me what set this hotel apart from the rest was when I checked out and went to Bangalore airport, there was a gentlemen there to take care of my luggage and flights arrangements from the Taj hotel.

  What can I say, I stayed here for 11 days, I asked for a smoking room which was on the recently renovated floor (9), the room was fantastic. The overall level of service from the hotel staff was outstanding, the food was excellent and the hotel amenities although the gym and spa area was small, it did provide what you needed.

  1) The bar - althought I only went a couple times (maybe had I gone more this review would 've been more positive), it was a nice place with very good people and bartenders. 2) The staff is genuinely trying to be good.

  2) Expect the service here to be so exhaustive and intrusive as to push you into submission. Often room service was brought luke warm, and got I sick on the food 3 times. Totally decent, but a little bit outdated and the gentlemen who tends to the gym apparently has been instructed by management to stand in the gym and stare for long and silent periods of time at you while you work out.

  Definately one of the best hotels for food and service. The room was open and well decorated (wasn't expecting the Plasma) its close to nearby shopping areas, the only downside (if your visit is I. The bar, pool and gym in the hotel were very good.

  DVD's, swimming pool but. Most guests stay in the hotel in their room.

  The price of room was about $300/pn, for that price you can probably stay at the Leela Palace which is a much better hotel than Taj.

  The only negative is the hotel is very pricey for the level of service that it provides. The restaurants are also pretty pricey inside the hotel for the class of restaurants.

  Rooms are a tad on the small side, but not cramped. Rooms are cleaned daily by a proficient staff.

  They charge you a fortune for picking you up from the airport (complementary for most other hotels), They charge you for wireless internet access. If not asked they dont tell you whether the breakfast is included in the room rent or not.

  The hotel itself is beautiful and is conveniently located on MG Road and 15 minutes from the airport without traffic. The driveway is tight and congested but the lobby is big, bright and modern. The rooms are also very modern, spacious and clean. Our only qualm about this hotel was it's price. Since it caters to businessmen and women of multinational corporations with deep pockets, the rates for the rooms and the prices at the restaurants are astronomical for Indian standards.
