Swissotel Sydney - 悉尼

Located near Pitt Street, this is a great location for walking to Darling harbour and circular quay.

We found the location extremely convenient, close to shopping area and major attractions (Darling Harbour, acquarium, Tower,etc).

Great location, very close to Town Hall train station (2 minutes walk even with lots of luggage).

From the airport, I took the train to the Town Hall Station but the taxis I hailed refused to take me to the hotel presumably because of the short distance.

If there are two or more people it is probably cheaper to get a taxi from the airport.

The room was spotless, the bed excellent, the bathroom large and clean with separate tub and shower.

The room featured two double beds, a large writing desk, wall mounted LCD television with cable channels, and a large bathroom with seperate shower and bath, and this was all for the rate of $210.

I had asked on my internet booking for a room with 2 double beds rather than a king bed (so our 2 year old would have a bed).

Executive Club rooms were very clean, (I am so fussy when it comes to cleanliness of a bathroom), nice and roomy with a great big deep Bath and we had a view of the AMP Tower which was right outside our room.

Room 2215:large, king bed, lounge,desk,coffee machine, large bathroom.

We didn't eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant, so I can't speak to the quality at other times, but it is pricey, as is all the food in Sydney.

A decent restaurant that was reasonable & the breakfast was exccellent.

Breakfast, served in the main restaurant, is first class, with a selection from a wide range of cold and hot buffets.

I would skip the restaurant and the bar and find places that are a better value.

Can't comment on the Restaurant or Wine Bar as we didn't get the chance to utilise, however we did indulge in a decadent room service dessert which was brilliant!

Reception and Concierge staff were mostly friendly and professional.

Staff, especially the concierge, were very helpful for advice and in booking trips.

A nice jacuzzi, steam room and sauna and an average gym are also on the pool level.

The lobby bar is great (with a very reasonably priced happy hour), the breakfasts were first-rate, the pool and gym were immaculate and the rooms were large, new, and very well appointed.

From the street you need to take an elevator to the 8th floor, cross the lobby to another set of elevators to get to your room.

The rooms were very clean and bright, though on the small size.

The room was very clean, quiet and comfy - perfect for getting over jetlag!

Our room was well proportioned and clean, staff went out of their way to help us and our three year old daughter.

The rooms are clean, modern, spacious, we even had a view of the outdoor pool - very cool!

The rooms are very clean and well furnished with usable and comfortable furnishings.
