Swissotel Quito - 基多

The location (in a new area of the city) was of little significance to us as we had a private city tour already planned and were recovering from jet lag.

The one location plus was that a supermarket is just down the street – could buy a six pack of bottled water for about the cost of one bottle out of the hotel mini-bar!

Good location and the restaurant just across the street was great.

Lots of taxis at the door, plus a hotel van to drive us to the airport.

Clean, not far from the airport, but not in the best part of town at night.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable, with a large selection of firm and soft pillows to choose from in the room, even the rollaway bed was exceptionally comfortable.

The first night we were upgraded to a suite, which included a kitchen with a washer and dryer, 2 televisions, a living area, a separate bedroom and bathroom.

The room was well appointed with two bathrooms, one shower/bath.

The bathroom was large and the bed was comfortable.

It had 1 and 1/2 baths an incredibly comfortable bed, complimentary wine, fruit, and candy.

We ate at the breakfast café, two of the main restaurants, and the deli; food was decent but pricey given the quality; only the breakfast got good marks.

A lovely bathroom, nice bar and meal at the le point restaurant was superb.

Besides breakfast, we did not eat , except for one light lunch in any of the five hotel dining rooms.

Although we did not use all the facilities within the hotel, the service in the restaurant(s) - Quito Cafe for Breakfast and Prime Rib Steak House for Dinner was quick and efficient.

The hotel is beautifully maintained, the cafe restaurant is excellent, the breakfast buffet vast, and the flowers in the lobby extraordinary.

Internet service was reasonable to check in back home, the staff was exceptionally friendly and prompt, the room was well appointed.

Service were excellent and the concierge helped arrange some great tours for us.

The hotel staff was very friendly, the reception was full of beautiful roses and the room was clean and new.

Steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi - great pool - many aerobic machines -all satisfactory.

The gym, pool and steam/sauna area are tiny, with the facilities at the Marriott being much better, The gym is poorly equipped and crowded, since they sell passes to locals.

The hotel itself is clean, rooms are nice and the pool and gym excellent (if you really want to get sweaty at 2,800 metres that is).

There is no wireless internet on executive floors, as advertized.

The rooms were very clean, and the pool area and other ammenities were very beautiful.

Rooms are clean, the main restaurant is good.

Staff were wonderful, rooms were clean and choice at breakfast time was excellent.

Business style rooms are American quality clean and service is good.

Rooms were clean, spacious and luxurious and staff helpful, though next time if we wish to get a bit more of Ecuador, we'll stay at a locally owned hotel rather than an international chain.
