Swissotel Lima - 利马

You will need transportation to most areas of the city from this location.

Loved this hotel, nice location, great service, Junior Suites very comfortable.

The only negative about the hotel was the location.

The hotel has its own fleet of black Mercedes taxis that will take you wherever you want to go in Lima and return for you at the time you select.

LOCATION - If you're a walker, you can take a trip to downtown, the Indian market, the Larcomar, etc, however if you're from a city that is not a "walking city", you may find yourself getting tired and you should take a taxi.

Rooms are large, beds are very comfortable, bathrooms are large and well equipped, and dining facilities are excellent.

There is a sauna, steam room, and hydrotherapy jet tubs that you can fill with bubble bath and rose petals (all free).

On the downside, beds were HARD AS A ROCK and definitely a disappointment for anyone who's stayed in a Westin Heavenly Bed or something similar.

The rooms are extremely comfortable and the marble bathrooms are large and well designed.

The rooms were immaculately clean and modern, bathrooms were enormous, and water pressure was very high.

Restaurant choices on site vary from deli/ coffee shop to high end and the Lima Swissotel is an excellent modern hotel in a new section of the city.

The breakfast is amazing, dining facilities are excellent.

A very nice bar/lounge area, excellent hotel and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Breakfast buffets are extensive with a great varity of good quality food.

The service is great throughout the hotel and concierge staff are excellent.

In terms of service, the doorman and concierge staff are excellent and professional as you would expect.

Staff are very accomodating and the concierge is very helpful.

The concierge service was great and the rooms were spacious.

They have a lovely heated outdoor pool, gym, sauna and massages for around $60.

Lima has excellent restaurants and lovely spa/gym.

Elevator service presented some concerns when the key cards to operate the elevators did not work.

Also the room was clean, the buffet breakfast was delicious.

The staff were fabulous, the rooms were immaculately clean and modern.

ROOM - 4 out of 5 stars - White sheets, clean, spare, yet warm and inviting.

Rooms are a BIT dated, but are certainly spacious, clean and adequately furnished.
