The room was spacious and the bed comfortable.

That I was charged for a beer I didn't take (this wascleared up). The biggest problem was when the elevators lost their power just prior to us getting on them to check out from the 29th floor. The service elevators were not stopping on our floor either after waiting 15 mins. We walked down all those flights (cement stairs)! My sciatic hurt and have had days of very sore lower calves.

Good location, nice rooms, good service and nice lake-view!

You have to pay for extra services like breakfast (too expensive) and WIFI.

Nice room; very confortable bed; wonderful lake view

Only cost related: Expensive breakfast and internet access, and we did not get 4 extra hours free late checkout.

Very professional, great view of Lake Michigan, quiet, well appointed beautiful rooms.

We paid for a lake view and it was beautiful

Cannot really find anything of substance that wasn't good. But, I found out that their "plain yoghurt" at breakfast had more sugar added to it than Coca Cola does. Not really a way to treat guests, I think.

excellent central situation and view from the spacious 26th floor room. Excellent bed.

On checking in,we were told our reservation had been canceled, It had, but a new one had been made (because of better conditions later) which they could not find until we showed them the references. Then the bill that we were presented on checking out did not reflect the rate that we had booked for. Eventually we showed our confirmation again and the rate was corrected, with due apoligies for the mistake and for the time it took to correct it (but fortunately we were not in a hurry)2.Small unwelcoming lobby.3.On sunday, the room wasn't made until after 2 pm.

The restaurant Palm is really superior. The lady at the reception is extremely nice and hospitable. Food is superb. I tried steak and lobster with a side dish of asparagus. It is excellent. The chef is extremely experienced and can guess with 90% accuracy your preferences.

The safe in the room was broken

The location of the hotel is excellent--right between Water tower shopping area and State street. The Palm restaurant was expensive but excellent.

They do not accept points toward free nights when a guest has booked through a third party. The staff seemed cold, especially at the front desk--all business and no warmth.

The room was spacious, the bed and linens fabulous. Dinner at The Palm restaurant was delectable, albeit pricey.

The staff seemed to not communicate with each other at all nor seemed particularly concerned about their huge gaffe regarding my stay.

Location, view from room, coffee machine.

Poor customer service - no reply to e-mails, confusion over bookings, housekeeping not great, 2 different people required to provide replenishment of tea/coffee and milk - different departments. For price, service was poor and amenities not as good as much cheaper Hilton E.G. no magnifying mirror in bathroom. Restaurant on site not owned by hotel and very expensive. Always a queue for concierge.
