The Staff and location were absolutely amazing, with a jaw-dropping 5min walk to Vatican City. The free use of the room safe was a nice touch, and the bathroom was clean and modern. The bed was incredibly comfortable, like a super king size, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The proximity to the Vatican City allowed us to easily attend the Christmas Eve Mass and the Christmas Day Speech by The Pope. The staff, including Marina and Karen, were excellent and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The attention to detail in the design of the converted apartment was impressive. Surrounding the location, we found a variety of excellent restaurants for breakfast and dinner, along with a nearby convenience store for bottled water. All in all, our stay was mind-blowing, thanks to the perfect location, cleanliness, and the exceptional service provided by the staff. A special thanks to Martina, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our trip was taken care of. Can't thank you enough!

The value for money at this hotel was exceptional. The room was clean and spacious, with a powerful shower. The location was perfect, just a short walk from St. Peter's Square and the Vatican. The staff, Giuseppe and Elisa, treated us like family and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.
The only suggestion for improvement would be to offer more breakfast options.

The location was close to St Peters square. Near bus stops and trains if you know their transit system. Handy to restaurants. Nice room.
Although the accomodations were fine we encountered the following unexpected serious problems. These problems primarily start with one misrepresentation. Sweet Home is not a hotel . It is a B&B. 1. When we arrived at 5PM later than we desired because of train and bus strikes, apparently a common occurence in Italy cities, noone was present for us to get access to the property. Contacted the owners by phone in Italian and waited almost 2 hours for their arrival. 2. On our final day the elaborate doors & locks they had installed which required four keys to access the room malfunctioned and I had to go out the 1st floor window to get out of the appartment and help while my wife stayed in room. 3. We had intended to leave our luggage at the hotel storage on our last day and see the sites since I had made a evening plane reservation. However check out time was 10 AM and there was no luggage storage capability since noone was present to access our luggage. This really hampered our plans. 4. A/C good but with mind of its own. Your control overriden by master control for their efficiency.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. The shower was very good, with various functions and a radio. There was also a foot massager in the room, which is especially good after a day of sight-seeing. The location of the B&B is ideal - a few minutes walk to the St Peter's Square! Breakfast was provided in the cafe across the road. While this wasn't a big breakfast, it was certainly enough to fill you up and there was a good selection. This B&B is very much worth the money, in terms of the luxury rooms and location.
The B&B does not have staff available full time, however Karen was always available on the phone and made a big effort to accommodate us in terms of luggage storage on our last day.

the website looked good and inviting
The hotel was booked by a company & the company received a confirmation email from Sweetly Home Roma that the payment for the room would be taken from the company credit card. They then charged the guest instead and took photocopies of their credit card so she felt necessary to cancel her card and was also not given a proper bill. There was never any staff - only part of the morning and there was no daylight in the rooms as they were all at street level so you didn't want to open the shutters and have everyone peering in. No telephones or mobiles worked which the hotel said was due to the proximity to vatican city??! During our guests' stay the main lock on the door broke.

Very comfortable and clean guesthouse. Nice light room has air conditioning and own bathroom with shower. Free wi-fi, smart lcd tv, mini bar. Actually the room looks like on the pictures and it seems like you're at home when you stay there. Guesthouse is Near St. Peter cathedral, metro station is 15-20 min walk. On breakfast we have yogurt, fresh fruits, croissants, sandwiches with ham and cheese, there was also some juice and milk for cornflakes, jam and Nutella, coffee machine with different types of coffee and tea. We liked everything. Thanks a lot to Karen and Giuseppe for warm welcome.
