I appreciated upstairs bedroom.

The place was clean and charming, had cheerful staff who had finished his shift. The breakfast was particularly nice with a wide range of food and complimentary drinks. I was offered a room with good views of the cathedral.

Liked our stay at hotel and would definitely go back. The restaurant was good with a friendly atmosphere, we ordered excellent dishes. The setting was great and beautiful for a wedding celebration.

I didn't feel like leaving, spent fabulous time and 100% recommend. The room was warm and lovely with excellent bathroom, the bed was soft. The hotel was in the central setting to a lovely cafe in the village.

I ate at a nice restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. There were a flat screen TV, a hair dryer, and clean white sheets. The location was stunning, extremely close to Thaxted Guildhall.

Recently decorated and spotless rooms with a large wardrobe, a hair dryer, and a coffee/tea maker, some with pleasant views. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was great.

Lovely traditional and good priced accommodation with affable staff that had finished their shift. Lovely and amazing location in Thaxted so close to a pub in a country town such as thaxted as well as the center of the town. Again, walking distance to John Webb's Windmill.

Everything was perfectly fine, so were picturesque views of the cathedral. The location was central, just next door to the centre of Thaxted, Right across the street from a towering church and a pub, restaurant with rooms. Also, I was just a 5-minute walk from Saint John the Baptist.

We enjoyed staying here, the place met standards. We had a very very good breakfast with wine and hot food all cooked to order, as example included. The room was decent size and newly renovated and the facilities included a flat-screen television, a storage, and an iron. The hotel had a central setting to minute walk down the hill.

The room was recently decorated and new-fashioned and included a spacious wardrobe, a hair dryer, and coffee/tea making equipment, greatly enjoyed it. Stunning central location adjacent to flight path and banging doors, nearest town centre Great Dunmow and a pub with a good atmosphere.

It was in a central setting in these' Green King' chain restaurants. Comforts of recently decorated and new-fashioned room with a large bathroom were fabulous.

Super continental breakfast with wine and fruit and croissants. Newly remodelled and extremely pleasant room and a storage, coffee/tea making machines, and an iron inside. Lovely location, just a walk down to everywhere. Found in a very comfortable area.
