Overview

Centrally located in Ankara, the five-star Surmeli hotel is close to the Kurtulus Park, Atatürk's Mausoleum and the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.

Renovated in 2006 the residence combines modern interior with retro-style elements and original designer furniture.

All 200 rooms decorated in muted tones are appointed with satellite televisions, spacious bathrooms and complimentary Wi-Fi access.

Esenboğa International Airport is 21.1km away from the hotel.

By car head east for 150m and turn right toward Özal Boulevard/D140 for about 150m, keep left at the fork and continue to follow D140 for 8.2km, later continue onto Esenboğa Kvş for 400m and turn onto İrfan Baştuğ Cd for approximately 8.8km, continue onto Çankırı Cd for 900m and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Atatürk Boulevard for 1.7km, turn slight right onto Necatibey Cd for 300m, take the 1st turning right onto Sezenler Sk and after 78m again take the 1st turning right onto Hanımeli Sk for 220m, turn sharp left onto Cihan Sk and you will see the hotel on the left.

Great location, taxi rank just outside and fine hotel in the middle of nowhere. Price is very reasonable and rooms are spacious, good spa facilty. As for the breakfast buffet, is decent and up to western standard.
