Overview

The Sunstar Style Hotel Zermatt is ideally located in a picturesque traffic-free village of Matterhorn, surrounded by majestic mountains and the beauty of the nature. The hotel provides a tranquil and pleasant stay, yet with easy access to the central Zermatt.

Renovated in 2010, this four-star contemporary property also preserves its exquisite typical Valais style. Guests are offered an array of amenities including free internet corner, an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam bath and sauna.

There are 44 comfortable guestrooms with cable TV, a hairdryer and a minibar. Most rooms come complete with a balcony overlooking the breathtaking views of the Valais Alps and the Matterhorn.

Easy walking distance from the station, lovely as the town of Zermatt and meals and arrangements in the central dining bar area excellent. All in all good value and great vallue for the price. Friendly staff, rooms are spotless and I loved the fact my bath was in the middle of the room, the breakfast buffet is complete and always fresh.

Spa area was very relaxing after skiing and was very well maintained and clean, the hotel was very warm, the staff were also very friendly and helpful. The ski/boot room was awesome, the breakfast was also great.
