Sunnyledge Boutique Hotel Pittsburgh - 匹兹堡

This is worth the 5 minute cab ride to Shadyside from downtown.

Well, there is something about this historic building with each room furnished differently with lavish fabrics; the crisp bed linens and snug duvets; the lively martini bar; wonderful location in Shadyside and the personal attention of the owners.

We were especially delighted by the fact that we were welcomed back to the hotel with a complimentary room upgrade to one of their suites and canapes and flowers waiting in our suite.

The deluxe room was of a nice size (not nearly as grand as a suite), and the bathroom was huge.

The room had a blocked toilet, no door key, no safe key and no air conditioning.

Hotel rooms are not huge(we had a deluxe room)but the design is fabulous.

We did not partake in the dining or martini bar, but the food did smell wonderful.

The restaurant served outstanding cuisine(heavy on seafood)I dined there 3 times, it was that good!

The lively martini bar, the mattress perfect and the food was very good.

Waited several minutes in dining room in morning for breakfast to no avail!

Sunnyledge Hotel and restaurant in the Shadyside section of pittsburgh lived up to all the positive press coverage Ive read from the West coast.

As other writers have said before, the poor service quality (all the staff we saw were in their early 20's) and the absence of any effective management makes this a place to avoid, particularly at the price.

They have never heard of please or thank you and don't know a thing about customer service.

Sunnyledge has a charming hotel staff that aims to please.

Staff was etremely friendly and made great dinner recommendations although we prefered the dinner we had on our last night at the hotel itself.

When I complained about all of the above, she said that only the key was their fault, that the rest was housekeeping's fault.

Paying an extra $12 for parking in their lot (which was nearly impossible to get out of) added insult to injury.

My complaints are that you have to pay $12 for parking, of which a space is not always available.

The suite was perfectly delightful - a real treasure -- roomy, clean, lovely decor.
