Sunbreeze Hotel

We were there Christmas 2006, I was concerned when they said it was next to the airport, but actually it is a great location, close to everything.

The location is excellent -- right at the south edge of town, very close to everything (w/in 5 min walk) yet I didn't feel like we we were cramped in the middle of town.

Sunbreeze hotel is an excellent location on Ambergeis Caye.

It was also conveniently close to the town, water taxi, airport, and dive shops.

While it's located just behind the airport (and also on the beach); we never heard planes or disruptive noise.

When we checked in, the bellboy noticed that the lamp by the bed had an electrical problem, so he took it with him, saying he would get the maintenance to look at it.

I loved the hotel - the rooms were big, great bathrooms and lovely pool and bar - found the staff to be helpful too.

One thing about the ground floor rooms (especially room 101) - everyone has to walk past to get to the breakfast room or pool and it might be nice to have some nets up just so people cant see right in (i hate net curtains too!

The extra money was worth it because the bathroom was much better and we didnt have roaches in our room, unlike the two that my brother found in his.

The rooms: I had a premium room and the rest of the people traveling in my party had the standard room.

The hotel was in a great location, right next to Ramon's, and has a great restaurant/bar right along the seawall.

Overall the hotel is a good value and has a great restaurant/bar right along the seawall.

Incredibly clean (as are the beaches all over this island), great staff, perfect location, nice pool, friendly bar with GREAT poolside appetizers, and by far the best restaurant in the area.

The restaurant was the best in Belize, and the bar and the bar staff were fun and accommodating.

There was a nice pool, bar and restaurant.

Chris and his staff behind the bar provided very fiendly service at all times.

Yes, the pool is small, but after a day of diving/snorkeling/sailing/hiking I have no need to swim laps.

It is close to "downtown" and just the pool was perfect.

Rooms were very clean, and large compared to other hotels.

The rooms are clean, service is great, and the ammenities are fine.
