The staff was absolutely friendly and made me feel at home. The service was good, which made the hotel a quaint and beautiful place. Its location was central, only 700 feet from a daily market.

They had a decent continental breakfast on offer 😊. The room I got had a super comfy bed, a mini-bar, satellite TV, and climate control. It was in a good spot and the staff were really nice the whole time!

The room was very clean and spacious, featuring a lovely terrace, and the breakfast options were delicious with a variety of Japanese and continental dishes to choose from.

This place is conveniently located near the Kusakabe Folk Museum, the staff here is extremely friendly, the check-in process was prompt, and the room is nicely furnished with soothing water sounds, a private bathroom.

The customer service was top-notch, no issues whatsoever, it totally hit the spot for us. This place has got some real history to it, and the rooms were super clean. 🌟 They offered a great selection for breakfast, perfect for fans of a continental start to the day.

Nicely decorated and absolutely fantastic room with a private bathroom. Convenient and peaceful location not far from a park setting ten minutes from the center as well as the train station. Also, right next to the Old Town.

The location was magnificent for Takayama, near the river, the morning market, and a block or two from the traditional merchants quarter, Also very close to the morning market and the bridge from the historic district and the Miyagawa Morning Market. It also was in the center of Takayama.

Fairly clean and quaint property with traditional continental breakfasts and attentive staff.

Hotel was wonderful old and I liked the food there, it was tasty! The breakfast was included and had lots of meals. The free parking was off site, very good service.

Our room itself was reasonably large and well-equipped with a terrace:)))

We had a truly magical experience at a ryokan in Takayama. The atmosphere was like stepping into a Japanese museum, with eye-catching pieces everywhere. Our room overlooked a beautiful river, and we indulged in our own private hot tub time. The location was convenient, and the welcome was warm and generous. I highly recommend this ryokan for an unforgettable stay.
