We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bed was great. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a working heat system. We also enjoyed the convenience of having a Mexican restaurant right next door, making it easy for us to grab a delicious meal without having to get back into the car. Additionally, the hotel's location was ideal, with many restaurants within walking distance.
Didn't dislike anything about the property.

The hotel was in a great location, close to a popular attraction and plenty of dining options nearby. The staff was welcoming and helpful, providing maps and suggestions for activities. The rooms were recently updated and had modern amenities like a kitchenette and wood floors, making it both functional and comfortable.
The hotel showed some signs of wear and tear on the exterior and could use some improvement in certain areas. The walls in the room were a bit thin, making it easy to hear other guests, and the overall cleanliness could have been better.

Great Christmas stay! Perfect location, just a short walk to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The room was clean and cozy, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel offered free continental breakfast and Wi-Fi, which was very convenient. The parking was also ample and free.
The heating in our room didn't work as well as we would have liked, so it got a little chilly during the night. , the room didn't have a mini-fridge, which would have been nice to store leftovers from the delicious Christmas dinner we enjoyed nearby.

It was clean and easily accessable.
The bed was very firm, and the pillows weren't super comfortable, I used my own travel pillow to accompany the provided ones. It was not clear where our room was when leaving the office, and it was also not clear where the provided continental breakfast was. Also, the hot water was warm enough, but it wasn't super hot, I got chilled while in the shower with the "Hot" selector as far as it would go. But my husband showered 5 minutes later, and the water was a little warmer for him. It was like it wasn't kicked on when I took my showers, when I was the first one to shower within a couple hours.

Willows Travelodge was a decent place for a good nights sleep. It is about 30 minutes from Chico State University. This was a great alternative to staying in Chico, where they jack up the hotel rates at graduation. The Travelodge even included a decent breakfast.
It's right next to the freeway.

It took three tries to get a room that met with my request for accommodations. Then after coming home from my first day of training, the key no longer worked (even though I had paid for staying two days) and had to go back to the front desk to have the card rekeyed. It seemed to be an old hotel that was in the process of being remodeled (probably not the first time). Even so, the rugs gave off the old musty smell. If I have to go back for training, I do not think I will return to this Travelodge. In leaving the front desk stated that if I call directly I can get the room at a lower rate!

The price and that's it
The hotel was not clean, looks like it has not been kept up. The room was not clean, durty wall and cobwebs. The floor was discussing. The phone did not work and only a few light worked. One if the roon had a missing room number plate. The room number was written on the door in a felt pin.

Nothing, they messed up the booking. My frist room was not clean, second room smelt like a smoking room. The second day I got back to my room after working 12 hours and found they did not clean my room that day. I would not stay there again. Comfort in is next door, much better for a little more money.
Just not a nice place to say, looks run down smells like an ashtray

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The heat worked well. The bed was great. The adjacent restaurant is convenient and has decent Mexican food, and provides a 15% discount to Travelodge guests. The hotel provides a cont. breakfast at the motel next door, which was perfectly fine.
The building itself is pretty old and looks a little tired, but it's been remodeled well and is nicely maintained. Our only real gripe was that there was no nightstand/reading light on one side of the king-size bed.
