Lots of places to eat nearby if you don't fancy paying the hotel prices which are a tad on the high side.
Overall, the hotel is well presented but somewhat impractical and doesn't really warrant the hefty price tag you will be paying.
Really good location, friendly hotel and adequate for reasonable the price was.
Right near the city centre, the hotel is in easy walking distance to the main shopping area and price is good.
Excellent central location close to the nightlife of Derby, the hotel is well presented and some rooms are good and spacious.
Stayed for a week while working in derby,location was excellent 5 mins walk from train station and 5 mins walk into town plenty of places to eat and shop.

The Room was clean and tidy with twin beds and en suite bathroom and shower over the bath.
My colleagues reported stories of hairs in baths, toilet paper in toilets on check in, towels with blood on them, but my room was ok, despite no A/C.
The rooms dont get much better, i had an executive suite with an advertised 'king sized bed', in fact its 2 singles pulled together, so get used to a night in a effective single bed unless you want to sleep on a ridge.
Our room was a double executive, so it was a good size with a huge bed, a clean but rather plain bathroom.
Everything was nice enough, the bed was comfy, the bathroom was okay (although just a stall shower, room only for one- not the best on a romantic weekend!
The effective central heating, bar very relaxing and modern, food in restaurant was good.
The bar man was good looking as well and breakfast were fine.
Furthermore room was fantastic, bar had a good atmospere and the continental breakfast at 10 each was not value for money.
The breakfast was full english and served buffet style which was good as the restaurant was busy.
I found the prices in the restaurant for a la carte and breakfast was very expensive.
Clean reception area pleasent staff, a pleasant stay and the service was excellent.
Special Rate was good, the staff were excellent and the receptionist was happy.

Lots of car parking spaces one of the best hotels i have been in for the price, the Reception is bright and welcoming, the rooms dont get much better.
First impressions were very good - hotel parking was free and seemed secure.
The hotel looks as if it has been modernised in the last year or so and therfore looks fresh and modern,Carpark is free to residents and so is the local heath spa with presentation of key card.
They even have wireless broadband internet access in some areas so that you can conect your laptop and download e-mails superfast.
On arrival the Reception area was clean and tidy, we stayed in a room at the back of the Hotel wich was quite small.
Rooms were spotless, the breakfast was good.
Room far too small, good breakfast and the facilities spotlessly clean.
The rooms were clean and the family bar was quiet we were there.
The staff were excellent, the room was clean and breakfast - the Continental selection at breakfast was very basic.
