I would advise everyone not to stay at this hotel and if you must, be sure to pay in cash.
Magnificent location, our stay was nice and staff that I encountered were polite.
It has great potential; decent location, good amenities, visual appeal, but is missing those little touches that could make it so much better.
The hotel had a prime location, on the seaway and off a state route.
Our room was clean, although a dirty towel and a dirty washcloth were in the bathroom, obviously missed by the cleaning staff.
There were four bath towels in the bathroom.
There were two beds, spaced considerably away form each other - one near the back of the room facing towards the St.
I got a good nights sleep and woke up the next morning feeling better, but a bit tired since I got to bed so late.
We have 2 adults 2 kids staying and prefer the rooms with 2 queens or townhomes which have 2 beds in the loft and a queen downstairs.
The restaurant is really quite nice, but only open for breakfast for the guests.
Moreover the restaurant is really quite nice.
Furthermore free breakfast buffet is basic.
Additionally the self-serve continental breakfast had a good selection of items.
Scrambled eggs and waffles are on their breakfast menu.
Great service and other than the large TV.
Our stay was nice and the entire staff were welcoming and accomodating.
The hospitality we received during our stay at the Stone Fence was superb and her staff were helpful in every way.
I explained that I would be arriving late, and the staff member said she would make arrangements to leave the key where I could find it as their office would be closed at my hour of arrival.
So basically because they train their employees improperly I am out an extra 75 dollars until I talk to a manager.
Our report to the owner/manager that fleas came home with us, was met with a brief apology.
Other than the large TV and the pool clean.
