Clean and comfortable hotel, promotional price.
To sum up this is not a hotel for people wishing to visit MILAN.
Good location for arrive close to the Bergamo's airport and they all made us feel very welcome.
Cristallo Palace is close to Bergamo Airport as long as you don't miss the right motorway exit, the location of the hotel is good and the service you can find someone is excellent.
The location near the airport was good, hotel was nice and as we did not know this part of Italy the staff helped us out a great deal explaining the best bits to see in the time we had.
It is about 2 miles from the Bergamo airport but the taxi fare ranged from $20-30 each way for the ride.
Just at the edge of the city and the hotel staff is helpful ordering a taxi for the airport.
The room however was very nice with a king sized bed that was new I think and had a soft pillow top mattress and lots of pillows to choose from and several types.
Fresh bed sheets every day was a lovely touch we haven't experienced at this room rate outside the USA.
Bed were fine, the bar restaurant was family friendly.
Rooms in the Starhotel WERE a little smaller than in other Starhotels in Italy but we found them very comfortable and clean, bathroom was fine with good toiletries.
Room were fine, the inclusive buffet breakfast was more than adequate and varied.
The restaurant was very good,good meals, wines and a ok bar, and the prices was at the average.
We did not eat in the hotel restaurant, but had a light snack in the bar, which was expensive, but good quality.
Breakfast was very good by normal Italian hotel standards and the restaraunt serves fine food.
The Starhotel Cristallo was beautiful and the food at their restaurant was excellent.
Beds are good, the restaurants offer fantastic food of every kind.
Good hotel near the airport, great service and the man in reception gave us better room for the same money.
Adequate amenities in the immediate vicinity and friendly reception staff.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful (especially those on the reception desk), the rooms were clean and light (I agree that with the window open, the noise from the nearby roads is extreme) and the breakfast has plenty of choice.
I must compliment the Manager for his friendly manner, efficient way in which the hotel is run and the overall service which it offers.
In the internet overview we was told about a swimming pool at the hotel.
The pool was in another place nearby and it was expensive to use.
Old city and free parking available accross the road.
The Hotel was very clean, the Staff were pleasant and the room was very nice.
It was very clean and nice rooms, an another + was the internet ability.
The rooms were more than adaquate, spotless, linen changed daily, with excellent shower facilities and toileteries.
The staff were friendly and the room was very well equipped and clean.
Moreover staff is really friendly and rooms are clean.
