The airport is only 10 minutes away, the hotel is just beautifull you like old manors and the food is excellent.
Whole thing spoilt by the amazingly high prices at the bar and breakfast delicious.
The staff were friendly and polite, the bed was excellent, the food was fantastic.

Wilmslow station is 1.6km from the hotel with direct trains to London Euston and Manchester Piccadilly.

To get to the hotel by road:

From the North (M60, M62)

Leave M60 at Junction 3 heading South on to the A34 for Wilmslow. Leave the A34 at Dean Row & Styal sign (5th Roundabout), follow signs for Stanneylands Hotel. Continue along to traffic lights, go straight across - the hotel is approximately 300 yards on the left.

From the South (M6 & M56)

Leave M56 at Junction 5 for the Airport, head for Terminal 1, follow signs for Styal and Wilmslow onto Ringway Road. Go straight ahead to traffic lights at T-Junction at the end of Ringway Road. Turn right onto Styal Road heading towards Wilmslow. After approximately 1.5 miles turn left onto Station Road. Continue along Station Road for 1 mile and round a sharp right hand bend, the hotel is situated immediately on the Right.

Some of the refurbed rooms downstairs in the hotel were lovely, staff were helpful and the bedroom was good in parts, the bathroom had been modernised and was fine. Similarly, the breakfast in the morning was delicious.
