The only reason people should go to this hotel is if it's a value price wise and you don't care really about weird smells and inadequate amenities.
This hotel actually comes with a package, but if you book by yourself, it will cost you within $100USD, which is a good price in Athens.
It impressed us as a comfortable basic hotel with a good restaurant with reasonable prices.
We found this hotel very good value and a perfect location for what we wanted.
The location is convenient and there are plenty of interesting shops and cafes nearby if you want to stay close to the hotel.
The hotel was OK overall, but the location is not close to anything of interest to me.
It is nicely appointed, the staff is friendly and helpful, and has an extremely convenient location right next to the Metaxaghiro/Karaiskaki Sq.
It's next to a metro station (METAXOURGHIO) with a taxi rank outside -and taxis are very cheap (but slow during rush hour).
The hotel is located above an entrance to a metro station, which makes it very accesible from anywhere interesting in the city, the airport and Piraeus.
Our beds were actually twin despite asking for a double bed, but it was a spacious room with a lovely powerful shower, great air-conditioning and sky tv.
The double we had, room 339, was spacious and had a very nice bathroom with a tub.
The second time we needed a triple we specifically asked for a large bathroom and were given a room (room 612) with a tub which was great.
And if you stay there and don't want a flooded floor in the bathroom, ask for a room with a bathtub.
It's nice and clean, the room was not too smal, but if you want to be close to your lover, don't forget to ask for a double bed ;-) The roof with the pool, the bar, the restaurant and the view are great.
This is a perfectly OK hotel in a reasonable location, with good breakfasts, and a great view from the roof bar/restaurant.
The buffet breakfast is one of the best we found and the downstairs bar serves good drinks but horrrible food.
A superb breakfast was served in the hotel's restaurant.
The restaurant and rooftop bar were very expensive.
The rooftop bar/restaurant/pool area was very pleasant.
The reception staff were very helpful recommending good restaurants and calling taxis for us, even though we did not tip them.
Not only that, the staff was great, very accomodating both the front desk folks and the resturaunt staff.
On my arrival the front desk staff (four men) were very efficient, the porter was willing and the room they allocated to me was on the 6th floor and rather pleasant.
The view of the Acropolis from the roof garden at night was lovely and though we didn't use it, the pool looked inviting.
The rooftop pool/lounge area provides a rexaling time with greeat views of Athens and the Acropolis.
The pool is located on the rooftop and has a SPECTACULAR view of the city and the Acropolis, make sure you go up and look at the view at night.
You can use an Internet PC for a small fee.
Amazing breakfast, clean rooms, very nice staff.
The rooms are big and clean and I had a balcony overlooking the square outside and rooms higher than floor 5 potentially have and Acropolis view.
Re complaints from other reviewers: We used the internet a lot and it was never down, and our room was very clean.
The room may be small but was clean and everything worked.
My room is clean, I got everything that I need.
