Save your money and stay at a Holiday Inn or try an all-suites hotel.

The location is great right next to the botanical gardens which is a fantastic place for a morning walk and right at the bottom of the city it was an easy walk to the main shopping centres.

Views to the River were very good and the location was the best aspect of the hotel - close to the shops.

Staff were very good although obviously NOT happy in theirwork and location is superb on the river.

The hotel is in a good, central location right on the river.

Any visitor to Brisbane would do better to jump in a cab and go to Anouk on Given Tce Paddington or the Gunshop Cafe at West End, cab it New Farm or take a ferry over to Bulimba to any of the cafe's there.

The room was very comfortable, with a king size bed, a few arm chairs and a desk.

There was a small area for the toilet, a separate shower with a fixed shower head and a handheld [hard water pressure even with both going, so obviously not into conserving water], and a large bath.

The room was spotless, the bathroom was large and comfortable, and some of the staff was outstandingly friendly.

Great room and bathroom, lots of space, views of river, right downtown brisbane, easy to walk everywhere.

An excellent bathroom and an attractive river view among other features made for a pleasant in-room experience.

Food at Siggi's is what you pay anywhere for fine dining and cocktails/drinks in the Pavillion Bar are standard prices.

The location is central and it was easy to walk to many attractions and to find excellent restaurants and shops close at hand--not to mention the lovely art galleries and performing arts center within walking distance.

Didn't eat here other than at breakfast, but I'm told their chocolate high tea is great, as is their seafood buffet.

The Brasserie was where we ate breakfast.

We didn't eat in the hotel at all (too many tempting options in the vicinity), but did enjoy drinks out in the courtyard bar on a few evenings.

I was also a little ticked off at the reception staff when she passed a comment as we were walking to the elevators that my Louis Vuitton bags were fakes, which they are not.

Excellent concierge service and nice bathroom.

A note of caution if you have a car the hotel charge 20 dollars a day for parking or 30 dollars for valet parking (its a rip off) park on the street after 6pm it's free!

Nice length/width/depth with the wet edge design so you don't get any waves from other people playing in the pool.

Spa was good, not quite warm enough though.

In this era of Hi-Def, iPod, Wireless ADSL2+, some of these premium hotels need to update these parts, especially for the business/frequent traveller.

At this price, I certainly expect free high speed internet access.

Fantastic and clean room, we liked the gym.

The room was spotless and tastefully furnished.

Yes the room was otherwise tidy, but not what I would expect for a 5star.

The young, enthusiastic, and friendly staff could not overcome the lack of attention to detail. Our room had a large old dusty cobweb in the corner. There were no tea and coffee supplies so we had to phone down to reception. This hotel started out as a really wonderful elegant boutique hotel in a beautiful location - ideal for out of towners like us to frequent.

To make matters worse, we were double charged for the very average bottle of white wine we did choose to have with our meal. Now it is tired and grubby, with overpriced and below average meals, drinks and services.

Near the city, nearness to great facilities including Brisbane River entertainment and the hotel has a good location. Staff were excellent and polite, room was comfortable.

Good river view from room, the staff really helpful excellent stay and accommodation is the best in Brisbane.

Services are expensive and i would prefer loose tea. Leisure facilities are worn.

Excellent location, the buffet is not cheap is ok the food served is of good quality and tasteful.

I thought the front desk staff could have been more friendly, no digital free to air channels available on the television and they are more interested in the men at the bar then the women. The breakfast is too expensive.

Restaurants has a lovely view of the river and just a great place to stay. Excellent concierge service and nice bathroom. Near the cultural complex near the gardens.
