St Nicolas Bay Resort Hotel & Villas Agios Nikolaos - 圣尼古拉奥斯

Loved the location very close to Ag Nik, as other reviewers have mentioned you can either walk or get a taxi for 5 Euros.

Superb location overlooking bay and mountains.

The location of the hotel and the views were amazing.

The final bill for 6 adults, 2 infants who had all their meals prepared and served either in the rooms or at the Blue Bay, spa treatments, private taxi transfers from the airport was unalarming and very good value.

Also worth eating in Aghios occasionally, only 25 minutes walk or 5 euros by taxi.

We stayed in a Junior Suite with separate lounge/bedroom/bathroom (Room 415), not over-looked, and with spectacular views.

This was by far superior to the family suite, much more spacious and a separate lounge, bedroom, shower room and bathroom.

The rooms which are small with hard beds, small bathrooms and small windows which restrict the fantastic view of the sea.

Superbly decorated suites, in privileged location, with one bedroom and separate living room.

Room cleaned in the morning, and then in the evening, the bed turned down, slippers positioned on a cloth next to the bed, any glasses used washed up, and tidied again.

We had the best meals of our entire vacation at the Greek Kafenion and at the fine dining Restaurant Minotaure, better than Michelin star Restaurants in Athens.

We tried all of the hotels five restaurants during our visit, but our firm favourites were the Blue Bay Restaurant for lunch and the wonderful outdoor panoramic sea view Kafenion Restaurant where we dined under the stars.

The breakfast service was very good, however the bar prices are on the steep side, the taxi into 'Ag Nik' itself only costs 5 euros each way and there are plenty of places to grab some very good food and drink.

We stayed B&B, but used the a-la-carte restaurants on 3 occasions, and yes it was'nt cheap, but the food was good (try the choc mousse desert in the Minotoire Restaurant - its a work of art!

The bar and restaurant staff were all friendly although the service could be painfuly slow and getting a table for lunch was difficult and some people's tempers ran high.

We were pleased to see the same staff members who provide exceptionally polite and courteous service (if a bit laid back).

You order a taxi at reception and one is there within 60-90 secs (we actually timed it on no less than 3 ocassions, excellent service from the taxi boys).

The service is exceptional; the hotel staff in particular is a gem.

Good service should be discrete and that only comes from well trained and confident staff.

Blue sky and sunny weather allowed us to enjoy the safe beach for the children, the large sea-water pool with surrounding terrace and plenty of good quality loungers, superb lunches at the Blue Bay Bar and outstanding treatments at the spa.

If I had one gripe it would be the cost of the Spa treatments and you have to pay to get access to the indoor pool.

The hotel had a shop selling international newspapers etc, a little art gallery, spa and gym facilities.

All parts of the hotel were clean and our room was serviced twice every day.

The room was a good size, clean and comfortable.

On one occasion I had to contact reception for someone to clean the rooms.

Another tip is to order room service this will ensure that you have fresh orange juce and coffee and not the watered down stuff at the comunal breakfast area it is around 1.
