  Coffee shop was very nice, the Port Bar downstairs was enjoyable and great historic hotel on the Mississippi was a lot of fun. The staff were knowledgeable, prompt and friendly, room was wonderful. Hertz available for car rental, as we were headed to wisc and the pillows were very flat and well used.

  Bedside lamp cord had a short in and food was only warm, not hot.

  Perfect location for walking to shops and again, train whistles blasted all night long. Wonderful bar and atmosphere, the original historic building. For the price of nearly $200 a night that is just nuts, the staff is friendly and helpful, the beds here are always comfy and I love the pillow menu.

  Timeless luxury, great location on the river and pleasant stay. The historic building, very friendly staff and the rooms were unique and beautiful. The food was excellent as was the service, facility were very enjoyable.

  Trains were a bit noisy, the bar tender was overwhelmed and the patrons were most unhappy.

  The location is good as far as walking around the downtown and looking at the shops, the opening in the armoir the tv use to be would be an excellent place, the rooms are historic.

  The food was good and the view was fantastic, the decor was beautiful and the lack of smoke was nice as well, service there was friendly and efficient. The bed was comfortable, the mattress was great.

  Nice stay at the st, desk staff exceptional and we loved our room; Victorian, embossed ceilings, soft comfy bed. The sunday breakfast in the beautiful veranda cafe was delicious.

  Lovely stay at the st, fine linens, pillowtop mattresses and the very best service, the room I was in was very spacious and the bed was quite comfortable. Food was good.

  The amboiance of an old majestic hotel, all the staff that we met were very friendly, helpful professional and our room was perfect, light, airy, clean and very comfortable. Food was great.

  James hotel because of its historic ambience, the staff were friendly and helpful, my room was beautiful and the whirlpool tub was wonderful after a long day on the bikes.

  Hotel served complimentary starbucks to guests in front lobby and i loved the vintage/antique furniture. Great coffee.
