This hotel was in the price range I normally use.
Well situated for the town centre, the location of the hotel was perfect for we needed and the Staff were friendly and helpful.
The location - excellent for shopping & very near our friends in Grimsby and cost effective for budget.
Great location and the hotel had good parking facilities.
I walked to the station and asked a cab driver if he knew of a clean, alternative, even a privately run B&B.
It is a 1960/70s hotel fairly near the railway station which was its good point.
The room was clean and spacious but the bed could have been a bit softer.
My room was of a very low standard - hot, shabby, and with an exceptionally small and uncomfortable bed.
Bed was small, heating was on full, and I got a full run down of the Friday night entertainment from the hotel bar because of the thin walls and aluminium windows.
The room was hot and smelly and decorated in woodchip paper, had an old bathroom with cracked tiles and had an old Decca tv with only 4 channels.
Good location, great staff and clean comfortable bed - nice hot showers.
I didn't eat in the restaurant or go in the bar as they both looked like something from a 1970s boarding house.
And don't even get me started on the restaurant food.
If you really must stay here DO NOT eat in the restaurant it is absolute rubbish, I really don't know who gave them 3 stars but they shouldn't have any.
Great breakfast, i did not utilise the catering facilities as I was.
The outlook from the restaurant was also very pleasant.
Good location and comfortable reception staff very helpful also the cleaners checkk in.

I stay at this hotel on business almost on a monthly basis, basically becasue it has two things going for it - it is in the middle of Grimsby town centre and has it's own parking.
The inside of the lift doors were covered in scratched into the paintwork graffiti, you would have had time to do this because it was so slow!
This hotel is really stuck in the 60/70's and in need of an urgent face lift!
Furthermore clean room easy check in/out.
