St Giles House Hotel Norwich - 诺里奇

The room we got (19) was located on the gound floor in the old part of the building which got a little noisy due to the street level location I also witnessed some sort of dodgy deals going on outside the YMCA!

The hotel's location is good, with cafe's, restaurants, pubs, a supermarket, a market and taxi rank (next to the market) nearby.

Its in a excellent location close to everything in Norwich and the staff are friendly and fantastically helpful.

First the good: The hotel was a quick and cheap taxi ride from the train station.

It being literally a two minute walk away from the shops, taxi rank and the open market.

After seeing the room, which was stunning, with a vast bed, lovely furnishings and beautiful chandeliers in both the bedroom and the bathroom - and a lovely looking big bath, we decided we had to stay here.

The room (a luxury suite) was a delight from the tasteful décor to the very comfortable beds; from the fluffy towels to the sumptuous deep bath.

The bed was divine, room large, and the bathroom out of this world.

The rooms are all large with very comfortable beds and great bathrooms - some with brilliantly large and deep baths.

The room was huge and lovely with an enourmous bed.

Although we didnt eat in the restaurant we had some drinks in the bar and were suitably impressed with the ambience!

Admittedly the cost of the breakfast was taken off this bill but because of the terrible breakfast we decided not to bother with dinner in the restaurant event though I thought the menu sounded quite exciting.

We actually decided we wanted a stroll and to eat at a restarant we had seen earlier that day but the restaurant area looked nice and the choice of food pretty good - the barman certainly seemed friendly as we popped our heads in to have a look.

Bar & restaurant closed for private function.

We didn't eat in the restaurant but we did have room service.

Convenient location, good atmosphere and the reception staff were extremely helpful.

Convenience for city centre Good breakfast Helpful staff, the Hotel also wasnt overpriced for F&B and friendly reception.

Although some staff were lovely, between the terrible view from our room and the crazy woman at the front desk, we weren't terribly pleased with our stay and can't say that we would recommend it or go back ourselves.

When we arrived, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location is ideal and even has car parking.

Also found that car parking was complimentary (unusual but very welcome) and with no apparent time restrictions.

I also used the spa and have to say Fay was a fantastic therapist and I look forward to visiting the spa again if (or when) we go back to Norwich.

Nice clean comfortable room, an excellent friendly young waitress at breakfast.

We finally cornered the owners and explained the room wasn't clean, the service was awful and the food a joke.

Tea and Coffee is provided in the room and you request fresh milk - much better than those horrid long life things.
