It has charming, welcoming stuff. The location is stunning, adjacent to Stourhead, a national treasure of English architecture and sublime country scenery as well as the Spread Eagle Inn - couldn't be better. A superb bar does the trick.

We did not want to leave and would come here again. It was a great place for our absolutely amazing stay. The breakfast was served in the garden. The setting was lovely, next to the gardens, the restaurant, and Stourhead, a national treasure of English architecture and sublime country scenery. A palladian mansion was also easy to reach.

The staff members were all efficient and incredibly friendly. The setting was quite perfect within easy reach of an elegant mansion. This hotel was in a lovely area close to the gardens and house at Stourhead, and the Cotswolds.

So glad we chose it, spent 1 fabulous day here. The atmosphere created was family. The restaurant had LIGHT food.

Great Options for Children

We had a wonderful stay at this inn during our visit to Stourhead. The atmosphere in the front bar was full of character, and we really enjoyed our meals there. The highlight of our experience was the fact that the kitchen was willing to make a half portion of some dishes from the main menu for our son. He absolutely loved the risotto! It's so refreshing to find a restaurant that recognizes the need for more variety on children's menus. Our waitress was also very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. I would highly recommend this inn for families looking for a child-friendly dining experience in the area.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The location is absolutely stunning, just steps away from the beautiful gardens. We enjoyed peaceful walks in the area, taking in the natural beauty. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The room was spacious and cozy, with the added bonus of a large, comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious, providing a great start to our day. We were also pleased to have free Wi-Fi in our room, as well as other amenities like a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle. this place provided us with enhanced comfort and quality services.
