The value for money at this hotel was excellent, especially considering the large and comfortable room we had with an amazing view. The location was perfect, close to the city, thermal baths, and a scenic walk to the lake. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, going above and beyond to assist us.

The breakfast selection could have been better, with a wider variety of options to choose from.

Here we were so close to few of our favorite spots such as Lake Warfaaz. Le jardin des elfes is within walking distance the hotel.

Nice, relatively large clean refurbished hotel rooms. Surprisingly good diner buffet with good value for money.

The indoor swimming pool water was too cold and there were far too few chairs and lounge beds in the hotel garden.

We stayed in a room with a lake view. I would say it was rather a forest view, still it was very nice, we liked it much. The room was ample and big and also very nice. The buffet breakfast was excellent.

1) we requested a baby cot but it was not provided to us, the baby slept on a tiny sofa. 2) water in the swimming pool was so cold!!! nobody could swim there. 3) the whole organisation of the services was on the low level: they told me to have a massage at 12H00, then at 11H10 called me and asked why I didn't go for the massage;the same day I ordered a shower massage - just 30 minutes earlier they called me to say there wasn't a hot water etc. It was just a waste of our time and money. I wouldn't choose this hotel again.

Friendly and accommodating staff

We had a wonderful experience at Silva Hotel Spa-Balmoral. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was clean and spacious, and the view was breathtaking. The hotel manager even made an effort to speak Dutch, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was satisfying and the massage we had was excellent. our stay was amazing and we highly recommend this hotel.

Not all front desk staff were knowledgeable & able to answer question. ie: "I'm not from around here". Not given option to get a regular room, hotel did not appear full.

The staf did not seem to know how to direct you to a good meal.

I stayed at Silva Hotel Spa-Balmoral for a couple of nights while passing through the area. The hotel is easy to find and located in a peaceful and scenic environment, just a short drive from town. The staff was friendly and the dinner at the hotel restaurant was excellent, although a bit pricey if you eat there often. The room was spacious, with comfortable beds and a well-equipped bathroom featuring a separate toilet and a bath shower. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was because they offer EV charging facilities for guests, and even though there were some issues with parking, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate me, allowing me to double park and ensuring it didn't inconvenience anyone. Finally, the breakfast buffet was large and delicious, with plenty of options to choose from.

We really enjoyed our staying at this hotel. The staff was really helpful and friendly, they also upgraded us to a juniorsuite facing the valley with a fantastic view for only EUR 10 extra.The hotel was really family-friendly with a very good buffe on Saturday evening, no need to go down to Spa for dining. We had read in the other reviews that guests had complained about cold water, but the water in the spacious pool was not cold at all, rather the opposite.

Reasonable price for a good sized room that could accommodate a family of 4. Good quality evening buffet - although only a buffet available on a Saturday evening. Lovely lake downhill from the hotel with cafes with playgrounds - great for families with smaller children.

The spa facilities ticked the boxes but were a bit old and did not give the luxury feeling. Need a car to get to the center of Spa.

The hotel had a fabulous view and a superb staff in every respect. The location of the hotel was near the Franchorchamps-circuit, perfect for motorsport enthusiasts. In addition, the rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious options to start the day. The spa facilities, such as the pool and gym area, were available for guests to relax and exercise.

One negative aspect was the lack of attention to detail in the housekeeping, as some rooms were not cleaned thoroughly and the vacuuming was not done properly.

they don't seem to have a great sense of humor, the buffet wasn't great for the price, i'd recommend you go eat somewhere else. The breakfast was good tho.

I had a great stay in this hotel with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities. The hotel was close to the lake and near many hiking trails. The breakfast was delicious with a huge variety of options. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
