The location is great - the price is quite affordable, the hotel is located in a good area.

2) Great location - Not located on the most hectic blocks.

The location can't be beat - it is right next to the swank hotels and very close to Lincoln Rd.

All in all it's a great location, a bit far for 3 inch heels to walk to the clubs on Ocean but there are plenty of taxis around (if you arent planning on leaving SB area no need to rent a car (28 taxi fare to the airport).

The day prior to departure, the Front Desk Clerk made arrangements for a cab to be waiting on our last day to take us to the airport.

When we booked the room we asked for a room with a king size bed, but were allocated a room with two double beds which was overlooked by the hotel next room, which looked directly into our bedroom and bathroom.

We were given a standard with a king sized bed, but after calling to the front desk, they gave us no problems in changing the room to the standard with the two double beds.

The rooms were small, but not unlike other smaller hotels on the strip; king-size bed was comfy and essential oils bath products were a nice touch.

The room itself was very small, and we had one king size bed, a desk with a tv on it, two night stands, one arm chair, an upholstered bench and a good sized closet.

Nice bed and plenty of pillows, a desk for using my laptop, clean bathroom and and excellent shower.

The staff was friendly at all times and because we used the hotel's amenities (breakfast, pool, bar, restaurant), the staff remembered us.

Breakfast comes with the room and there's a nice bar and restaurant next to the pool.

The Pilikia restaurant has great food and the staff also referred us to David's Restaurant (a Cuban restaurant within walking distance) that had great food for much less than the other restaurants on Ocean or Lincoln.

It's low key and on the beach with a very inviting pool which has palm trees and comfortable lounge chairs, plus a bar and a restaurant.

There beach bar restaurant was very good, awesome drinks, food was very fresh and delicious!

Staff members from Front Desk to maid (dis-service) was rude.

The staff was nice considering some had been working 16 hours at the front desk; this may explain some of the customer service issues.

Super friendly and helpful staff - Ana, Lorena, and Jerry at the front desk made suggestions and reservations for us at two outstanding restaurants.

Pool area was nice, the beach access was great and the lobby was more impressive than the rest of the hotel.

There is even a little gym off to the side of the pool with a treadmill, a stationary bike, and a weight set for those interested.

Also, the lobby and rear lobby area (near the entrance to the pool) have been updated to give it that trendy feel.

Speaking of, for the first 2 days, I had no problem with the wireless internet connection, but after that I could never quite get it to work right.

When planning for our trip, we set some criteria; A pool, direct beach access, an eatery of sort, clean rooms, quick access to everything South Beach.

The rooms were always clean with more than adequate neccesities, like soap, shampoo, etc.

I looked into the rooms on the first floor and they looked fine, no view, but neat, clean and a place to sleep.

5 star hotels before and this isn't that - but we were never in our room and when we were it was always cozy and very clean.

The hotel was clean, the staff was pleasant, the rooms were small but it was only for a weekend and bigger than I expected considering some of the reviews.
