Sorrento Beach Resort

Wow, we couldn't believe our luck, we got upgraded to a one bedroom deluxe apartment (from a studio), which had a jacuzzi in the bathroom and separate shower that you could have fitted 8 people.

We upgraded to a 1 bed spa apartment from Mercury Direct, think the usual hotel room would be too small for the duration.

Bedrooms were pleasent however the living quarters were dated and contained broken furniture - namely a sofa bed which you could sit IN but could not get out of.

Good location, prompt staff and the kingsize bed was comfortable.

The location was good and the bed was the most comfortable I slept on in a 3 week holiday in 8 different places.

The complex is located within easy walking distance of Sorrento Harbour with lots of shops, cafes and restaurants to choose from.

The White Salt Restaurant opposite was very good, both in food quality,service and price, the Jade's Restaurant at Hillary's Boat Quay was as good if not better.

Did not use the dining facility on site but the resort is also located adjacent to one of the most raved about restaurants in perth and is within walking distance of the harbour where there was an excellent choice.

The location is just across from a nice beach and Hillary's Marina with all its tourist shops and restaurants is a 5 minute walk.

Hillarys boat harbour is about a 10 min walk away with lots of shops and a couple of bars and restaurants.

Spacious and in a good location for our needs, helpfull and friendly staff in reception, the bathroom was a generous size a large shower.

I only found one member of staff helpful - a blonde lady who worked the afternoon shift all other employees including the general managers were disinterested and rude.

Facilities were very good with a daily maid service, something we have not enjoyed at another resort hotel on the Gold coast in previous years.

The staff were very friendly and extremly helpful, everything we had come to expect from Australia.

The pool area and jacuzzi was lovely, especially nice to be able to BBQ there on the warm evenings.

Also be able to use the spa for relaxation.

Finally and most importantly the hotel due to damage decide to close the pool for 2 day/nights of our stay.

The staff were very friendly, rooms were clean.

Rooms were very large, clean and well appointed.

Rooms were clean and both meals were lovely.

Location was good, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the apartments were clean and comfortable.

Our room was on the 1st floor and was very clean, with large kitchen/lounge area.
