Sorell Hotel Ador Bern - 伯尔尼

Great location, walking distance to the old town and the Sorell Hotel Ador is situated near to the main train station in Bern.

Convenient location next to Bern central station, clean hotel and nice staff.

Has a perfect location on the main street and hotel clean.

A nice little hotel close to train station.

It is very convenient to the Bern train station, a five minute walk once you figure out how to avoid the massive construction work that currently disrupts a great deal of Bern.

The hotel gave me a single room i paid for a double and the bed was good.

The bed was not a proper double, 120 cm width I estimate, had to be pushed to the wall to pass through into the room, meaning one side had no bedside table and light.

After complaining that we needed a bed for our son they upgraded us to a room with an extra bed.

Most importantly, the bathroom was sparkling clean and the beds were comfortable which made for a pleasant base from which to explore the city.

Helpful throughout the entire stay, a comfy bed.

The breakfast at the restaurant on ground floor was simple.

Just down the road from the hotel is what looks to be a florists and a couple of take-away shops, if you go into the arcade there are several really good bars and restaurants and the atmosphere was really buzzing - worth a visit.

Nice selection including fresh fruit and the standard Swiss breakfast spread of meat, cheese, and delicious breads.

We have stayed in many hotels in Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, and other places in Europe, and NEVER has it been allowed to smoke at breakfast.

The breakfast was disappointing - I wasn't expecting anything too fancy but would have appreciated a little more variety.

Overall 's a good value for the money and great staff.

I will concede that the check-in form wasn't the most straight forward that I have ever completed, but it took all of 15 seconds and the receptionist explained what things meant.

Excellent service with attendant making coffee, extra charges for anything but black coffee.

In my view it should be specified more clearly that the entrance is from the West City parking, and more underground signs would be of help, too, so that hotel guests can choose places closest to the lift.

There are no common areas to speak of but a rather slow but free internet terminal in the lobby.

The hotel advertises free internet available all day in the lobby, but it was often switched off early in the evening and had to be requested early in the morning too.

Bathroom was fine, one shower, spotless clean.

Room was clean and the breakfast was disappointing - I wasn't expecting anything too fancy.

A one night stay is ideal and the rooms are clean.

Room was small but clean and very comfortable.

The staff is extremely helpful (knows English which helps) and the rooms are clean, bright and simply furnished with a modern look.
