In addition to the location, the hotel had very efficient housekeeping and hotel staff who were hospitable and prompt in tending to our requests.

In conclusion I would recommend Sonesta Hotel and Casino if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel in a central location.

There is a proposed future subway extension to the Cairo airport that should help people like myself who prefer the subway to street traffic.

The hotel is just 20 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes to the Egyptian museum and other sights downtown and 45 minutes to the Pyramids of Giza.

We changed our room 3 times as there were countless problems with the bathroom for eg the water not draining in the bathtub in 2 different rooms,cracks in the wall in the bathroom, air conditioning not working properly and so on.

Our hotel room was very nice and clean, staff were excellent at check in, the bed was very comfortable.

8th floor, quite, had a rollaway bed for child no additional cost, had room service once which was ok, child had spag boll, ok at best.

The bed is huge, the spa is great and free.

The hotel rate was good for me, the staff were very friendly and helpful, room we had was spacious two 3/4 singles plus rollaway full bathroom.

Comfort the breakfast location are very good and the restaurants in the hotel offer a great variety of tasty food.

I was quite pleased with the scrumptious breakfast spread that included an egg station in the main restaurant.

Breakfast buffet was included in our stay, the food was good and there was a nice variety.

The hotel has several restaurants including Italian, Lebanese and Asian dining options though I did not try out any of these.

The meal in the restaurant was fantastic.

Sonesta Hotel reception staff were always very helpful and the service was good.

The staff treated me like one of their family, the concierge will be very happy to get you a car and the standard rooms are not bad by any means.

I was also disappointed by the size of the pool but in contrast, my colleague was happy with the health club due to its impressive number of relatively new machines.

The health club is also equipped with a jaccuzzi and sauna and offers free private trainers for the hotel guests.

The bar was clean and tidy, the toilet had issues flushing well.

This seemed an older hotel, but my room was clean and fresh upon arrival.

Staff welcoming and polite, clean room, the food was excellent as was the wine.

Hotel was nice, the staff was pretty good and room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel may not be the grandest, the pool area may not be the best and the rooms aren't the most opulent, however, the hotel is clean and definately above average.
