This hotel is located in a peaceful area up on a hill, providing a quiet and serene environment. It's not far from the city center, only a 20-minute walk or a quick taxi ride. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-maintained, offering a comfortable stay. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to assist guests. The breakfast is delicious and can be enjoyed outdoors on the terrace. The breathtaking views over the city are an added bonus.

One small drawback is that during colder months, the windows can be a bit drafty, causing some discomfort during the night.

Clean and comfortable. The staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. We were on a football trip and had the hotel booked out and had a fantastic time. Only about €2 or 130denar to the city centre in a taxi. Free wi-fi (just ask for the code) was an added bonus.

The staff was lovely and helpful during our stay. They were always there to assist us and made sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were big, nice, and very clean. They were cleaned every day, which was great. The location of the hotel was in a quiet area and not far from the city center. It only took about 20 minutes to walk or a short taxi ride, which the staff helped us with. The breakfast was good, and we enjoyed eating outside on the terrace.

During our stay in November, we noticed that the windows were quite drafty. This made the room cold at night, especially for my children who were sleeping close to the window.

Skopje View

It is a bit complicate to reach the hotel as the gps knoes only the main streets of Skopje. With 5 euros given to a taxi diver the problem was solved...

Hotel Sun is always immaculately clean. In one week, I met every member of the staff, and they are all helpful. Hotel Sun is a great discovery, and I and plan to stay there - the next time I visit Skopje. Hotel Sun is about a kilometer from the city center, and that worked out very well for me. Macedonia is a very athletic, health-conscious society, and Skopje is an excellent walking city. Jon in nyc

There are lots of stray cats and dogs in Skopje, and you will hear them at night. This does not appear to be a health issue, but expect to hear lots of animals.

The outdoor pool was a nice bonus on a hot day. The hotel's location was convenient, only a short distance from downtown and public transportation. The breakfast had a good variety of options.

The room was outdated and had an old carpet that smelled musty. The air conditioning was ineffective, making the room uncomfortably warm.

The staff is composed of young people who are extremely kind and helpful. There's a small but nice swimming pool which can be certainly useful during the hot Macedonian summer.

The hotel has opened fairly recently, which means that no taxi driver knows where it is located (though they eventually find it). And you must take a taxi because the hotel is pleasanrly locared on a hill looking over the city, but definitely far from the city center. Another little problem for those like me who cant easily sleep with light in the room: the window curtains are really too thin, and in summer this can mean a very early wake-up.

The rooms were clean and rather large

The bathroom was strange, no warm water all the time, wet everywhere. The proper breakfast hall and conference hall. The conference was organized during our stay and we have not been comfortable during breakfast. In my opinion this was disaster, the brakfast was very boring, the coffe very bad quality, the choice of food also.

In the summer, the outside pool and garden is a great bonus. The views over Skopje are lovely. The rooms are basic but sufficient. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

Having previously stayed there in the summer, I didn't notice how drafty the windows were. This stay (November) the drafts made the bed room cold at night, especially for my children who were sleeping close to the window.
