The hotel is in an excellent location and we relaxed on the beds by the pool for seemed like forever.
The check-in was easy, although we were not informed of the shuttle from the train station and paid for a taxi.
Each night we were happy to return to our luxurious, crisp bed!
We were given another larger room (with a chest)and one of us slept on a cot--we needed two beds.
The room was done in a very modern decor, the staff was fairly friendly and the bathroom was renovated and perfect.
Why would we - with the Backyard restaurant, pool, lounging beds, and renovated rooms?
The staff was fairly friendly and the bed was great.
Furthermore a great bar for evening cocktails and as well as in the restaurant.
We walked into the restaurant hoping the restaurant would be running as usual and we could order breakfast.
The manager sticks near the bar plates, listening to great music eating delicious food and a very sweet pool.
The restaurant was run by the folks who run Tabla in NYC and seemed really nice with a great looking menu (did not eat there).
We did not try the restaurant, but have read some mixed reviews regarding the price and quality of the food.
Amazing service in the hotel, the staff was very helpful and the rooms were minimal at best.
WiFi service was a joke (both services were hyped).
The managers and staff in the restaurant were all VERY friendly, considerate and courteous.
Now I was thinking to myself - shouldn't the front desk manager be aware of EVERYTHING that is opened or closed on the premise, especially the ammenities available to the guests?
Cheap shower curtains of questionable cleanliness, wonderful food/specialty drinks and pool played great music.
Grounds, landscaping were nice, good size pool but there were no newspapers or guides, no ice machine, heat could not be turned on during an unseasonably cool night.
They were building really cool lounges out by the pool.
Sole East is a great place to stay, the rooms are absolutly spotless clean.
Rooms were clean and fresh--a great contrast to the tired, musty rooms more standard in Montauk.
The staff were great and the room itself was clean.
