Solar Do Castelo Inn Lisbon - 里斯本

The location is great for visiting the sites, hotel is located in a beautiful area of Lisbon and the staff is beyond nice and helpful.

The location, within the walls of the Castello, was probably the most picturesque in Lisbon from what I saw.

Great breakfast, great location (bit of an uphill walk but then that's Lisbon for you), thoroughly enjoyed it.

You can walk to the top or take a bus or taxi as far as you can.

Our room was spacious, comfortable (huge bed) and has shutter doors so you can actually close off the main room from the bathroom and front door.

The rooms, though not large, are beautifully appointed with elegant Portugese matalaise bed linens, beautiful hardwood floors, and a small Juliet balcony overlooking the stunning courtyard below.

Highly recommend the hotel, lovely rooms, if not small and our bathroom was very small, only room for a shower.

A good breakfast althought there is a good honesty bar.

En revanche, il n’y a pas possibilité de dîner à l’hôtel qui n’offre que l’hébergement et le petit déjeuner mais il y a un « honesty bar » de bonne qualité et un grand nombre de restaurants à proximité.

There are many, many fine restaurants with better food and much better service.

We would highly recommend eating at the restaurant in the castlewhich has fabulous views over Lisbon.

3am and thought we would have a rest in our rooms,after a lovely lunch at the castle before our planned evening at a very special restaurant.

The staff was very friendly -- I don't understand people who say Portugese are not service oriented.

If you want to stay in a hotel that have a good athomospher, familiar staff and good service, you have to stay here.

The number of staff was a bit on the low side, even for such a small place, and we had to wait a couple of times for the receptionist to come back from performing some other duties.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, caring of the staff at Solar do Castelo.

You enter the hotel through a large wooden door, and everything inside, from the lobby to the hallways to the courtyard, is beautiful and exquisitely decorated.

The lobby is a refined mix of Portugese antiques and more contemporary pieces, and it is all put together by someone with exquisite taste.

I got a superior room, and though clean and pretty, it was extremely small.
