Sol Pelicanos Ocas Benidorm - 貝尼多姆

Most of the staff were nice, and the hotel is situated in a great location.

The location of the hotel is ideal, it is 5 minutes from the beach, if that, and is situated just far enough away from the bars and clubs so as to not be noisy at night but all within a 5-10 minute walk.

Its especially great for young people and really close to the beach as well as the shops and pubs and clubs, however is not in a noisy location and aren't usually many rowdy guests who try and annoy you or cause fights.

We hired a car from Alicante airport (as taxis are 60 euros each way and the car only cost us 40 euros for 3 days).

The only downer was we got all our holiday Euros pinched out of my handbag from the airport to the hotel so watch your bags at all time (they are good).

Rooms a bit small (we had three beds in two bed room) but ok as you only sleep there.

We travelled as a family of 4 (2 children aged 5 and 9) and there was adequate space in the room (made up of 3 single beds and 1 camp bed).

Hotel was lovely, room service great (clean towels, bathroom cleaned and beds made every day), Food very European although great selection.

The same cleaner did not change the bed sheats or even make the beds properly but a different cleaner came later on in the week and she was much better.

If you e-mail the hotel with any requests such as high floor, room in the pelicanos, double bed, room over-looking pool etc they will usually meet them so might as well ask if its gonna make your stay more enjoyable.

The pool bar is quite expensive so we cheated and made up rolls at breakfast and sneaked them out of the restaurant.

We stayed in the pelicanos and didnt actually go into the ocas side so i cant comment on that, but the lobby, bar and restaurant of the pelicanos was spotless at all times and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I would also advise getting to breakfast by 9am as it gets sooo busy in the restaurant and it can be a bit of a nightmare.

We found the Hotel to be of very good value and the restaurant was excellent ( yes the food was repetitive but we were always able to have a different meal each time).

We ate in the restaurant all 3 nights and found the food to be palletable and above average, although a bit repetitive and we were only there 3 nights.

A couple of girls on reception and one barman were ok, all the other staff struggled to offer service with a smile, drinks were shoved at you and there was no pleasant comments or just manners.

Staff within the hotel were generally friendly, especially the entertainment and reception staff.

Reception staff very helpful and could not be faulted.

On the plus side, the location was ideal for us, the reception staff were pleasant and helpful as were the cleaners and if the room temperature was abysmal the room itself was adequate.

There are 5 lifts in the pelicanos so we never had to wait long for one, the limit is 7 people to one lift.

Pelicanos had 5 modern lifts so you always had a lift.

The pool was one of the best I've seen at a hotel - great temperature, jacuzzi's, pool bar, fountains - and BIG.

Rooms were spotless clean, pool attached to Ocas was really wonderful.

We stayed In the Ocas and the rooms were very clean and tidy.

The room and the hotel were very nice- clean and tidy(although we didnt have a great view, but then a view is hard to find in built up Benidorm).

Bathrooms very well equiped and spotless.

The room was clean, breakfasts were excellent.
