Sol Parque San Antonio Puerto de la Cruz - Puerto De La Cruz

The backcloth of Teide and an elevated location offering sunsets over the Atlantic provided a spectacular location for a relaxing break, The 15 minute stroll through the terraced gardens of the Casino gave ready access to Puerto de la Cruz.

Great location, peaceful atmosphere and the breakfast was good - buffet style.

Just spent a week at the Sol Parque which is in a good location, has clean and comfortable accommodation but would question the four star rating in comparison to other very similar holidays.

There is a free bus service into the town and Taxis cost around 4 euro to the centre.

Taxis are cheap and a good centre to tour around or sit in the sun.

Our ground floor 3 bed room was the biggest ever, 28 feet long from front door to patio, it seemed newly refurbished as everything looked new.

There was barely enough room to walk around the bed.

The maids had made a beautiful origami style swan out of a towel & placed it on the bed with flowers.

The quietness of the rooms depends on where the room is (facing the noisy road or towards the interior of the hotel); this should be mentioned in advance.

An indifferent hotel in this country costs around £100 a night for Dinner bed and breakfast.

The food in the restaurant was pleasantly varied from day to day, with a mix of local/spanish cuisine, mixed with old favourites from home (UK/Germany).

The room are big, the pool bar is quite nice and the excellent food is available from 6 - 10pm.

The restaurant was good and probably not a 4 star quality (by UK standards) as far as self service and paper napkins but the food was fresh with hot plates on which your meat/fish was cooked by chefs to order.

The hotel was only 15 mins walk from the seafront of Puerto de la Cruz , (up and down a steep hill) which had a good number of shops, restaurants and bars.

I had chosen with care a low rise development in a quiet area, with tropical gardens and a Canarian twist to the cuisine.

Reception were friendly and the concierge was particularly helpful and kind.

Everything about the hotel, staff, food, service etc.

Our room was perfect; service second to none, we even tipped maid service.

An absolutely fantastic hotel, friendly service and well tended by the maid for the week.

Some revuers of this hotel complain of gloomy rooms & this certainly applied to ours as there was a tropical garden front & back with ferns & palms & an ornamental pool with ducks ten feet from the patio!

Some days, we were perfectly content to just hang out around the pool area and take it all in.

Well worth the cab fare to town, pool area is quite good and puerto de la Cruz is an ideal place to get some winter sun.

I remember plenty of good quality entertainment provided by a dedicated team, a good childrens club, the rooms were very clean and tidy, the food wasn't bad either.

The buffet dining room is very clean, the gardens are beautiful.

The rooms clean spacious and or British friendly.

Also the bedrooms were spacious, the pool was clean.

The housekeeping staff was very nice to us, our room was very spacious and clean.
