The hotel is by far located on the best water and in the least crowded location in UMAG area.
I loved the location of the hotel although it mght not suit everyone.
5k outside the town along the main road, but in a lovely location surrounded by pines.
Firstly, we knew about the transfer time but it took us about two and a half hours to get back to the airport on the coach.
My room was adequate - I was there alone so seemed to have a slightly smaller than normal room - there was a comfy double bed but really it was pretty standard.
I finally managed to get to sleep and was awoken by someone banging the door shut in the room next to ours and throwing up in the bathroom ( I hope!
In the local vicinity there are a few shops, bars restaurants but not many - there are 3 hotels and 2 apartment complex in the area so lots of sports facilities available - the usual water sports and a great many tennis courts.
The bedrooms are cleaned daily, always fresh towels.
I was given a room which was dirty and the air conditioning did not work.
The restaurant has an extensive buffet at breakfast and dinner, with very reasonably priced drinks.
We ate out at lunch-time and found menus to be very similar in most restaurants with an Italian influence.
It is the dullest town I have ever been to with cheap tacky tourist shops and restaurants which display photos of their food outside.
Umag is a tiny town, a few shops, a few restaurants and all the people were so polite!
The food was lovely but some evenings the waiter service wasn’t that great, we did have to wait a while for our drinks, other than that the restaurant was fine!
Its a rather big hotel and friendly and helpful service.
2) i selected hotel i have only 2 options and will come out very well for the staff.
The beach was great from my point of view, the hotel was very clean and the staff in general were nice.
The sun terrace is only in the coastal promenade separates the hotel and reception is very helpful.
The hotel has a massage but not really much else - no indoor pool (heavy rain first 2 days I was there) or gym.
The view fom the terrace over the sea, not near any busy roads, good pool area.
The hotel was kept clean though and the pool area was lovely.
Clean hotel, friendly staff and the bedrooms are cleaned daily.
