I recommend this hotel if it can be booked at a reasonable price for small town standards.
Clean modern hotel, great price and the staff was very professional.
Especially that this is 5* hotel in 5* price.
Mini bar prices a bit steep, but across the road from the hotel theres a 24 hour delikatessen that sells most things you may need.
Best restaurant nearby: by far and great location.
Typical 5* in ideal location next to Rynek Sq.
I picked it both for its location on the main square, and because I know that Sofitel hotels are usually of a high standard.
Arriving at the airport, take the very cheap bus #406, starting across the main entrance.
This has been a Sofitel (Accor Group) hotel since only July 2004 and our taxi driver could not initially find it.
I stayed in a deluxe room which I would highly recommend very spacious with a flat screen tv and a HUGE bed which I have already mentioned!
We booked a deluxe room included a huge comfy bed.
This hotel is very clean and moden and the rooms huge, you could easily fit 5 people in the bed!
As usual for a Sofitel, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom spacious and well-stocked with amenities.
Very comfortable bed, free mini bar and nice breakfast typical of eastern europe.
I liked the service at the bar and restaurant however, the bartender or barmaids were not fluent in English and were not familier with most of the mixed drinks that we,(from the U.
Reception, bistro and bar are on ground floor, restaurant and conference rooms on the first floor.
The breakfast restaurant was buffet style, with good range of fruits and breads.
The dining room and bar areas seemed small, but adequate.
We had an absolutely delicious meal at restaurant Vincent on Ruska St and would highly recommend it as a venue for a very special night out.
The location was excellent, all meals we had in the hotel were delicious and the staff on reception were very helpful.
That lack of direction was our overall feeling about the staff - with the notable exception of the receptionist and of the bartender.
Nice bar area near reception, the hotel had a great location just off the old town square and the service there was excellent.

I was very disappointed to take the elevator to the top floor to see the Relax Spa only to find that it was closed for renovation.
