All in all, I had a very good time, it was good value for money, the hotel was not too big but very spacious (we were not packed!
There are I am sure better hotels for not much more money.
The general shop has prices like a 6-star hotel.
We booked an all inclusive deal direct with the hotel, and it has to be said that the cost was very good.
If you don't like the sound of this option you can always take a flight (1hour) from the airport however will cost alot more!
The beach is clean and hurghada airport is modern.
The room was medium sized and looked well decorated to a good standard with two single beds and a zed bed for my daughter.
Tip:ask to see map on arrival and choose a room accordin to where you wish to stay, also if you are not married they sometimes will give you twin beds so make sure you ask for a double bed on arrival, if thats what you want.
The room took me back in the 80's: old (and ugly) furniture and small bathroom, without a tub (I was expecting this from a Sofitel).
It had a very efficient air conditioning unit above the fitted wardrobe that housed the safe, then there was the shower room and toilet that had a fitted hair dryer.
The rooms have definitely seen better days as have the bathrooms (If you stay on the top floor, the hot water cuts out if someone else is using it below!
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in form of buffets and the food is OK, not that great nor that bad but many times nearly cold.
The restaurant and service is fantastic, the food is exceptional and mainly buffet style.
The part of the town that we saw was not that built up, in fact it looked quite baron to me, with only a handful of shops, bars and restaurants that we later found out got quite lively later on.
In town, there are some half decent restaurants to eat in and a number of places to drink at reasonable prices - beer/drink: $1-2 USD.
One evening we reserved a table at Omar’s restaurant, which supposed to be typically oriental food.
Staff is great and room service is quite simple.
Service is great from all the staff especially if they realize you're not russian.
The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, the desk at reception was quite long, our room was very clean.
The hotel is very well looked after both inside and staff expect a tip for good service.
The beach beautiful and 7- Good Gym at fitness centre.

Beach are lovely, the pool area is fantastic plenty of loungers set centrally and the hotel is very well looked after both inside.
