Fantastic location with beautiful very big gardens, stunning views overlooking the lake.

It was the most opulent room we've ever seen - full of character and old-world charm thanks to the little touches, like genuine antique furniture, chandeliers, oil paintings, a claw-footed bath tub and a canopied bed.
I was ill with a serious flu that would eventually put me in bed for a week so took advantage of their wonderful aromatherapy bath in the deep claw footed tub in my bathroom.
Contemporary furniture, bath fixtures, creaky wood floors, locks with regular keys, fresh flowers in the rooms etc.
Rooms are a bit small, but the bathroom is spacious.
Dinner at the restaurant is well worth it, the food is exquisite and the service exceptional.
Try the food in the Rabelais restaurant, slightly fusion, but primarily French, certainly worth a Michelin star.
The Breakfasts are very good value as well- buffet has a huge variety of food and tastes whether Western or Asian should be happy with what was on offer.
A large pitcher of icy water and dinner at the restaurant is well worth.
