Sofitel Brisbane Grand Central - 布里斯班

The hotel is in a good central location, only a couple of minutes walk to the central shopping area.

The main advantage of this hotel is it's location.

Good location, friendly staff, good quality amenities and the general appearance of the hotel is fine, but the overall impression is that rooms are in need of a refurb.

Wanting a central downtown hotel with easy access to the airport train on departure, this hotel could not be located any better, sitting astride Brisbanes's main train station.

Location is perfect, just above Central Station which means it’s really easy to get from the Airport to the Hotel and the hotel is only a couple of blocks from Queen St Mall and all the shops.

The room was fantastic, Nice and Spacious with a Plasma Tv, Decent Fridge/Mini Bar, Very comfortable beds and the bathroom had "Roger and gallet" tolietries, A Bath/Shower combination and was of adequate size.

My room was renovated and quite big with a very comfortable King size bed, a flat screen TV with cable on a big desk with a chair, 2 big armchairs, a safe, quite a big wardrobe and the mini-bar was fantastic.

When we arrived i had booked a Classic Room with 2 Double Beds, The guy at the desk was polite enough and issued us a room on the 17th floor, Up we went to discover the room had 1 double bed!

The TV cable channels, bathroom, and bed are all excellent.

The restaurant was superb for breakfast and dinner.

Buffet breakfast in the Sidewalk restaurant was superb with unlimited champagne.

The lobby area is large and open plan, with a big front desk, dual level bar area and restaurant.

The dining room buffet for both breakfast and dinner is "extravagant" in the variety and quantity of food on offer.

The service from the reception & concierge was really friendly.

The service was great, the staff were practically falling over themselves to help us.

The service was outstanding and a real credit to the staff.

The gym is on the third floor as well as the pool, and has plenty of exercise machines, more than I've seen in any other hotel I've stayed at.

The pool is large and complemented by a jacuzzi and lovely outdoor area.

The Pool was nice as was the Spa, Never got to try out Club Sofitel on the 30th floor but apparently they had free breakfasts for people staying in those rooms.

Club Sofitel was excellent including free internet and printer - the printer being very useful, as I had my own wireless internet but of course no printer.

The rooms were as you would expect from the Sofitel brand, clean, comfortable and roomy.

The restaurant is excellent, the rooms comfortable and immaculately clean, the front desk as pleasant and obliging and generous with their time as they could possibly be.

Everything was spotlessly clean, and although bathroom was dated, it still functioned well.

Our sizeable room had a clean, contemporary design.
