One last appointment for the location: it is located on Silom Road, where you have many shops, restaurants, street market.

The location is just fantastic - close to shops MBK shopping centre - (great shooping) 40 Baht in a taxi - close to sky tram, river boats and of course close to the red light district - Patpong.

This hotel is in very good location, close to everything.

As Bangkok taxi's won't hold 5 plus luggage we got a People Carrier Limo from the desk in baggage claim which cost 1100Bht not much more than 2 taxis.

If taking a taxi from the airport, it is wise to have the name of the Hotel written in Thai as the drivers do not know the hotel, but not to worry if you cant as its relatively easy to find.

We were immediately upgraded to an executive suite due to our longer stay of four nights, which was a lovely room - spacious, lots of dark wood, a huge comfortable bed and elegant bathroom with lots of granite/marble and big bath and good shower.

Both lounge and bedroom large and very well equipped (Evian water by bed side is charged - free bottle water in bathrooms!

The room was spacious and nicely decorated, with cable tv, tea and coffee making facilities and the bathroom had both a bath and a walk-in shower.

Everything was terrific: big soft bed, great pillows, big bathroom, beautiful view from room, housekeeping was excellent, walking distance to Patong, restaurants, the river and massages.

Fantasic, as the suite was massive, the bed enormous and the main bathroom (yes we got two) was stunning with the biggest walk in shower I have ever seen!

Restaurants were fantastic - especially breakfast which could keep you going all day and the bar on the 39th floor has some spectacular views.

The restaurants are very good, the breakfast bar a treat.

The buffet breakfasts were fantastic and the V9 restaurant and bar on level 37 (or something) was great.

The breakfast restaurant on the 39th floor had spectacular views over Bangkok and a marvellous array of food.

We really liked V9 bar / restaurant, great view's, food and drinks, expensive for Thailand but well worth it!

We stayed here for three nights on the first leg of our honeymoon and nothing disappointed us, from the very welcoming reception staff to the brilliant concierge boys.

In fact, the overall standard of service in the hotel was exemplary - the staff was always smiling, friendly and professional.

In addition the service of the Club Staff is so polite and helpful it is almost too good to be true.

Absolutely brilliant service from attentive staff.

The hotel has everything you'd expect in a five star including a swimming pool, spa, gym (why are hotel gyms never more than a few bikes and a treadmill?

The gym is quite good for a hotel with top quality equipment, steam room, sauna, pool, etc.

Small pool, sauna, and bubble bath available, along with good fitness area.

The rooms were cool, clean and luxurious and the service was second to none.

The bedrooms are 'contemorary Thai' in design & everything seemed well maintained, reasonably new, and very clean.

The rooms are spotlessly clean and well appointed and ours on the 22nd floor had an amazing view.

The staff were all so warm & friendly and the rooms were spacious, clean & comfortable.

The Hotel is beautiful , classy and clean rooms are good style.
