Overview

Skylofts is a semi-independent hotel located on the top two floors of the MGM Grand’s main building. The MGM Grand Las Vegas is the second largest hotel casino in the world, opened in 1993. Skylofts is often considered to be the Grand's luxury penthouses. However, the hotel had independently received the AAA Five Diamond Award, as well as Forbes 5 Star Award. Skylofts also makes a part of the world’s leading small hotels. The hotel was designed by a renowned architect Tony Chi with floor-to-ceiling windows, overlooking the Las Vegas grand Strip.

Getting there.

The hotel lies on the Tropicana - Las Vegas Boulevard intersection, in the MGM Grand Hotel building. All nearby casinos can be easily reached. Skylofts lies 10-minute drive from the McCarran International Airport and about 20-minute drive from North Las Vegas Air Terminal.

Getting around.

The Las Vegas Monorail on the east side of the Strip connects Tropicana Avenue with Sahara Road. Double decker buses run from the southern end of the Strip to the downtown, passing all major casinos. A tourist trolley service operates along the Strip, with a 24-hour pass being about $7. There are several free trams operating on the west side of the Strip.

  The combination of location, room, staff and service makes one of a kind, great Hotel. As big as my house, very nice decoration and very high tech, chilled Voss water was already waiting for us and the car was perfect temp. Breakfast at the mansion was a spectacular treat as well.

  The services from all of areas mentioned above was excellent and one of the best hotels Ive ever stayed at. The staff were amazing too, the concierge helped us in the morning was such a positive friendly individual and the room has 2 floors and nicely decorated. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, spa appointments were perfect.

  The view is beautiful and this place will only get better. The staff are just amazing, the Skyloft Suites are very impressive and all of the restaurants there are awesome. Only non alcoholic beverages in the fridge are complimentary.
