We were unfortunate with the room, as it was very cold when we arrived. However, the staff at Skogstad Hotel were quick to respond to our needs. They immediately brought us an extra radiator to warm up the room, which made a significant difference. Additionally, when we experienced electricity issues, the hotel offered us another room. Despite these minor setbacks, the location of the hotel is great, the breakfast is delicious , and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful.

a wide range of restaurants to eat close by, like peppes pizza that was only 10 minutes' walk away. everything you might need for you vacation is here, we greatly enjoyed service and rooms. free wi fi was working perfectly.

This hotel is a hidden gem! First, the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Secondly, the location is unbeatable. Situated in a quaint town surrounded by breathtaking views of the valley, we couldn't have asked for a better setting. Lastly, the rooms were cozy and had everything we needed. The attention to detail, like having a couch for relaxation, made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast, served as a Continental, was delicious and provided a great start to our day. We also had a room with a good view of the valley, which was an added bonus.

Room decoration needs a refresh, also the bathroom fixtures. Darker or thicker curtains (for summer time period) would make sleeping easier for guests.

The hotel manager was very nice. Location is a about half way between Bergen & Oslo making it a good stop for drivers between those 2 cities.

We were there in the off-season so the hotel & town were really only half open. The room rate was high for off-season. The hotel restaurant was closed. The wireless internet access works only in the lobby. The heater did not work in the rooms although we were offered a heating fan. The bathroom & shower are small.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Hemsedal and found it to be a great value for money. The prices for the rooms were fair, especially considering the location. Additionally, breakfast was served in a continental style, offering a delicious start to the day.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was satisfactory.

You dont mannage the order correct. The hotell has not recived the order so I got problems. This should not be a problem for me, and the check-in taks about 30 min. I thrust the Booked.net s rutines for ordering, but not anymore....

Rooms need serious updating, Spa cannot be called a Spa, but just a Sauna

This hotel had a great location right in the center of town, close to all amenities. We loved being close to good restaurants and even a nightclub around 11. The cleanliness was top-notch and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities were fantastic and included a yoga area, gym, and saunas. The breakfast was diverse and delicious, with something for everyone.
