Silverwood Hotel And Conference Center

The location is not bad, close to downtown (10 mins) and garden of the gods(10 mins).

At first I was not happy with the location, but after running around all day, it was to nice to be in a quiet location and so close to Garden of the Gods, Seven Falls, Pikes Peak, everything was an easy drive.

Great location for sightseeing, cycling, walking etc.

These folks are doing a nice job, and the location is right on I-25, easy to find.

But this is a large hotel, and the way they had it set up, you had to get into a cafeteria style line and wait for everything (instead for example - having stations to get say.

The beds and furniture seemed “newer” and the tub and shower area looked redone, but the wallpaper, carpeting and rest of the bathroom looked old and worn.

We had a nice, clean room with a king bed.

Rooms were dirty (gross behind the bed - old toe nails, etc).

The rooms are pretty nice although the beds are a little hard and the television stations are very limited.

One more thing about the bathroom—our toilet didn’t work properly and after every couple of flushes my husband would have to remove the tank lid and reconnect the chain that kept slipping off.

The hilariously named bar and restaurant (THE BUCKING TOAD) was serving a Thanksgiving Day feast and was very reasonably priced.

Its close to a lot of restaurants and there is a restaurant in the hotel as well as close to Garden of The Gods and Pikes Peak.

The on site restaurant provided an awesome (free) cook to order breakfast that was OUTSTANDING.

By the time we made it to the hot items, most of the food had disappeared and it wasn't being refilled quick enough, so much so that we didn't get much of the breakfast ordered.

The free breakfast was decent, but the dining area was defineitly not remodeled.

We were pleased with accomadations, staff, service, free full breakfast and attitude of employees.

We check into the hotel on the 24th of May and I cannot say enought about the service we recieved from the Hotel Staff.

Service was wonderful - all staff was really pleasant and attentive on the phone and in person.

Good service and friendly staff made this a good stay.

They also have a computer to access the internet and a pool and very nice jacuzzi.

The pool was nice, and towels were provided.

The pool area was very clean and well maintained.

The room had a nice clean smell and feel to it.

The rooms are large, comfortable and clean and have all the standard amenities including a refrigerator and microwave.

So apart from the room being clean and spacious, we probably would not stay again, until at least they overcame those problems.

Unlike other reviews I've read, our room was nicely updated and clean.

Bathroom was on the small side, but everything worked and it was clean.
