  The location was very good for the Inter-island ferry, the staff were friendly and entertaining, i liked stayed in Silveroaks because near from botanical garden & cable car.

  The body of the hotel was very tired, finally got up to the room running late so rushed to get ready for show we were attending at westpac stadium and the kitchen was non functional in the mornings so there were no cooked breakfasts for clients. The sheets were very old.

  The bar area was lovely and the staff were very helpful. Loved that I had a bath.

  Its close proximity to the city centre at a reasonable price and allowed us a cup of milk for my pregnant daughter - our shopping trip to Wellington.

  The shower head is way too low, radio/ alarm clock didnt work.

  We enjoyed being just out of the central city better value opposite botanical gardens for walks we walked back to town only 10 mins down hill and the only positive was that the night staff were helpful. Bed was very clean and comfortable.

  The room was clean The location was good, basically not very much at all except the staff were friendly.

  The hotel in general was quite old, phone was not working I was too tired to go back downstairs to report.

  Friendly and helpfull hotel staff, near to the Road 1. Good walking distance, the fact that the reception wasavailable to late arrivals and loved the decent sized rooms. Botanic Gardens.

  Painting areas would tidy up the complex and thin sheets.

  The area this hotel was in was good for city and the staff were very helpful.

  Shower curtain was not adequate to stop all the water gettingon the floor and rooms were fine.

  The waiter in the restaurant was nice but the food was not worth the money.

  While the reception and restaurant staff tried hard, the hotel is run down and dated.

  We liked the position, near from the railway station also and nice easy walk to town. To be honest we didn't enjoy anything at the hotel and access to free internet wireless service.

  Out dated style and having arrived on a hot aftermnoon my shirt sleeves stuck to the degraded sticky varnish on the armchair. Toilet didnt always flush and paid $18 each for buffet breakfast that i could do a better job of.
