Silken Gran Hotel Domine Bilbao - 毕尔巴鄂

Located opposite the Guggenheim museum, the views and location were perfect.

Uber-stylish and great service, combined with the best location for the Guggenheim and a whole host of other Bilbao attractions.

Costwise, at just over £100 for two, room only, it was worth every penny for the location, the chairs and the margaritas.

The old town can easily be accessed by the tram station near by, while the airport bus stops just 2 mins round from the hotel.

Close to airport bus pick up and first drop off point.

Thanks to a nice Philp Stark bathtube and a very comfortable bed we made the best out of it - alsways haveing a view to the Guggenheim - even throug the window of the bathroom - which let you look trough you room on to the Guggenheim.

Fanstastic hotel - great room (bath tub plonked in the middle of the bathroom!

We did not find our room tired (apart from damaged plugs in the bathroom sinks, which looked a little tatty but still worked), the bed was supremely comfortable, the room spacious and well-furnished, including CD player and CDs.

Huge bed and big deep bath and rooms were very quiet.

Our room was exquisite and ultra hip, with a picture window separating the bathroom from the bedroom (but fully equipped with blinds for privacy).

Beside the Guggenheim Museum, the other highlight of our trip was to go to San Sebastian and eat dinner at Arzak Restaurant--one of the best restaurants in Spain and Europe.

Bar are well designed too, breakfast on the the 7th Floor terrace is a great experience.

The standard of food presented at breakfast, on the roof terrace, and in the dining areas were first class.

We had a degustation meal at the hotel restaurant one night and the staff were hopeless -- the food was good but we were given house wine with every course and at one stage the waitress poured water into my wine glass.

Loved the roof terrace and very good food except the pastery at breakfast.

Hotel is good and clean, excellent front desk staff, the little animals they put on your pillow each time the beds are made.

The location is fantastic, the design is very modern and wonderfully helpful staff at front desk.

The location is perfect, very willing to give us recommendations for places to go and attentive service - staff will do their utmost to help you.

The service is excellent with friendly staff willing to make your stay confortable.

The gym is tiny, but it is on the roof too, with an outdoor deck and big windows w/ views from sauna or treadmill.

It has a glass lift that looks out onto the lobby.

Having arrived from the ferry and its tiny cabins our room was ready immediately and defintiely had the same wow factor as the lobby, and the breakfast on the terrace was also a great start.

There are 3 types of rooms - the "interior view" rooms are literally that - no fresh air there, and everyone can see into your rooms from the elevator.
