I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you get a good offer, but at their asking price of €350 per night for the executive suit I would NOT be happy, but for €74.
As all hotels in this area of Brussels (and actually most of Brussels generally), this is a place that caters to two clienteles: business travellers during the week, tourists during the weekend, when prices are more than 50% off.
The breakfast was overpriced, as is usual in business hotels (€24 pp), but the worst thing was €9 a day to use the spa (this was the hotel guest rate, it's €18 for non-guests) - what's the point of this?
We booked through Lastminute and decided to pay a little bit more to get a better hotel.
Excellent location you are in Brussels for European Commission and the hotel is located near the Berlaymont offices.
In terms of location as it is situated in the European Quarter there arent a lot of shops on your doorstep, however you are a minutes walk from "little italy" were they serve up some great and cheap italian food.
This Hotel is located in a mixed residential/office buildings part of town - a great location if you are here on business or don't need to be in the "middle" of the action.
EU area, located directly beneath the Palace Berlaymont, one of the main buildings of the European Union, by train from Brussels Airport to Central Station, EUR 2,80 and further by subway, three stations, daily travel ticket 4.
From the hotel you can take the metro across the city or by taxi (max 10 euro).
Our room was large (king size bed) clean, modern and well equipped - with TV, satellite, mini bar and safe.
The room was clean enough (the bathroom was spotless), lovely shower, huge bed with the most comfortable pillows ever!
Our room had a door seperating the bedroom from the hall and bathroom which was a very nice touch.

The room was cleanish (let down by a bit of a smell in the bathrooom) and the bed was comfortable.
The hotel has a really nice and welcoming bar that serves lovely pre-dinner cocktails and the hotel restaurant supplied us with some fantastic modern european cuisine.
We didn't use the restaurant as it was expensive, instead we went into the main Town where there are lots of outside/inside eating restaurants at a set price of 12 Euro each, bargain!
Moreover great service, lovely shower and the restaurant offers excellent breakfasts.
Superb breakfast -v expensive, welcoming bar that serves lovely pre-dinner cocktails.
We never had dinner at the hotels restaurant however we did have breakfast.
My personal view of this hotel is that it is too reliant on its modern stylish entrance/reception but can't seem to get the basic components of good service right (except for the staff who were very helpful and polite).
The staff is extremely slow, reception and room service rarely answer the phone, and its very expensive comprared to its facilities.
Quick check-in in a stylish open lobby and the reception staff are nice.
9 euros each for a dirty shower/changing area, sauna, steam room which is out of order, freezing cold tiny plunge pool and a boiling hot jacuzzi!
I didn't try the spa/sauna or gym, so cannot comment on those facilities.
Another thing I would recommend is the spa which is brilliant and there is also sun beds and a sauna.
Man hat ein Modem auf dem Zimmer (der Preis für die Verbindung war aber recht teuer), aber das Kabel für einen Highspeed-Anschluss war nicht da und auch kein Wireless Lan.
Rooms are tidy and clean, the breakfast is excellent.
The staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, a free breakfast was reasonable compensation.
Friendly and helpful staff, efficient check-in, the room was very clean.
Moreover very clean rooms and great bar too.
Location close to European Commission is convenient, the hotel doesn't dissapoint in terms of its appearance as is very beautiful and the rooms are clean and modern.
